Supreme Court Ruling: Online Taxes

The supreme court is simply ruling on the Constitutionality of the laws that will be passed to grab your money and mine.  They can't legislate, although I found it kind of ironic that the one guy on that court who did once "legislate a law" (the Obamacare healthcare law), John Roberts, now is one of the dissenters in this case.

I'm with you on this one, but yet you have this all wrong. You say "thanks to a Supreme Court ruling"??  The increase in taxes isn't occurring and it won't occur because of the Supreme Court ruling.  The SC only said they had the POWER to ENACT those laws.  The Supreme Court didn't write the laws.  YOUR Democrat legislators will decide whether or not they decide to act ON that Supreme Court ruling.  The Democrat Legislators there could easily say "hmm... the SC just said we could raise taxes via internet sales".  They could respond "that's not right, and we won't burden the businesses", or they could say "YES, MORE MONEY, MORE MONEY"!

Blame the culprit not the interpreter of the laws.  It lies with YOUR legislators, and in California it is virtually all liberal Democrats all the time.

Your state has been totally run by Democrats for the last 30 years or more.  Your Democrat Party had a Supermajority there some years back and they could do whatever they wanted and it couldn't be stopped by anyone.  I'm not saying that the Republican party is much better, but your Democrats are completely dismal.

And yet, you continue voting them in.  Maybe you should rethink your political decisions.  wink
Rich,The last I looked, the ones who led the parade on this to get the Supreme's to allow for a ruling enabling online taxation were the Republicans from South Dakota.
So perhaps your statement that the "Republicans aren't much better" is an understatement....

Supreme Court Ruling: Online Taxes

You'll now have to pay even more in taxes thanks to a 5 to 4 supreme court ruling:

I don't know why Donald Trump is so elated about it. If your state is anything like mine, we're dealing with a voracious carnivore when it comes to taxes and it's pretty simple, the more it gets to eat the more it gets to poop. The less tax, the less poop. It's that simple...

Whatever Happened to the National Debt Clock

"The president’s Office of Management and Budget — not that there really is a meaningful budget getting actual management — projects that the deficit for fiscal 2019, which begins in six weeks, will be $1.085 trillion. This is while the economy is, according to the economic historian in the Oval Office, “as good as it’s ever been, ever.”

and

"Despite today’s shrill discord between the parties, the political class is more united by class interest than it is divided by ideology. From left to right, this class has a permanent incentive to run enormous deficits — to charge, through taxation, current voters significantly less than the cost of the government goods and services they consume, and saddle future voters with the cost of servicing the resulting debt after the current crop of politicians has left the scene."
It's currently taking a backseat to " Make America Great Again!", along with the Donald and Vladimir rework of our faulty national intelligence service agencies in Helsinki and the purge of national security clearances of those dastardly ex-officials who dare to criticize our overlord in the oval office.
PS There's no clock and it's just more fake news. Don't believe what you hear or read. Just go to a Trump rally and carry a Q sign, too...

I don't what "Q" is, perhaps you can explain.

BTW, it has to be tough to have to ignore the facts about Brennan, Clapper, Strzok, Mueller and all the others on your side, isn't it?

Let me repeat, your Californian Senator there, Dianne Feinstein, along with Ron Wyden and all the other Dems were outraged at Brennan for his crimes of spying on them a few years back.  Then when he lied about it, they were furious.

Any comments from you regarding their fake outrage now and complete 180 degree turnaround of their hatred for him?

Strikes me that this whole Russian Collusion charade is just that, a charade and something that the Democratic Socialists can use to gin up their base of complete meatheads.  Too bad for your side that they are so phony that they have no credibility on the matter.   wink
First the financials:
"Republicans railed against the national debt during the Obama administration, when it nearly doubled from $10.6 trillion to $19.9 trillion. But Republicans — with few exceptions — have been more muted about the debt under Mr. Trump. Earlier this year, Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul temporarily held up a spending bill on the Senate floor, blasting Republicans for approving of the spending levels they criticized under Obama.

"I ran for office because I was critical of President Obama's trillion-dollar deficits," Paul said at the time. "Now we have Republicans hand-in-hand with Democrats offering us trillion-dollar deficits."

The  "burgeoning" federal debt in the decades ahead will result in reduced national savings and income in the long run, increase pressure on the rest of the budget due to growing interest costs, limit lawmakers' ability to respond to unplanned events, and increase the chances of a major fiscal crisis, according to the CBO."

Second, the "Q" movement explained:

Third, I'll let Brennan defend himself:

Are there ANY Republicans that are not corrupt?

Posted By Rod Kaufman

The first congressman to support Trump was indicted on insider trading last month. Now, the second one to support Donald Trump is indicted on multiple charges, along with the Mrs. Of course, according to Duncan, "it's all political"! And Cohen didn't really plead guilty and Manafort wasn't really convicted, and Sarah says Donald did nothing wrong. So much for reality TV! Now, I've got to get back to Fox news so I can learn all about that illegal immigrant...

This kind of reminds of the line in the movie, "Mr Roberts", where Henry Fonda throws James Cagney's favored palm tree overboard and Cagney gets on a microphone and yells "Who did it?!",Of course the NYT knows who the writer is since they carefully vet what they say unlike the clowns over at Faux news...
