That's the picture Lindsey and a few of his friends want you to see. Hmm, I recall Brett disputing the location of the house where it allegedly happened, saying he hadn't been there. How did he know where it was if Ford didn't? I hope the FBI investigation will provide more evidence to consider. I certainly hope they interview one of Brett's former Yale classmates:

The corroborating witnesses that SHE provided have already been interviewed under felony perjury threat and given sworn statements that they are not aware of any such event.

That said I fully support a time limited investigation as called for by Sen Flake if for no other reason than to call the bluff.

Much of it has been expounded upon elsewhere. Trauma victims in these types of cases frequently don't recall details like the ones in question other than the traumatic event itself. And witnesses saying they can't remember an event is not the same thing as saying it never happened.
I, like others, would prefer the FBI being consulted on the duration of time necessary for them to conduct their own investigation versus an arbitrary 1 week demand. And I'd certainly like to see Brett take a polygraph since this is a job interview and not a criminal proceeding.

If he took the same multi-algorithm polygraph as utilized with Ford, ie the same as that used by the department of defense, I'd personally reconsider the veracity of his statements which I don't believe now.
What bothers me though, even if he passed a polygraph as stipulated above, are the clearly partisan statements made by him the other day. These are the ones regarding conspiracy theories that the Clinton's were out to get him and the perceived efforts of "the left" to wreck his appointment to the bench as "revenge" for Trump winning the 2016 election. That's just plain nuts, especially when you consider his previous statements during the nomination process wherein he proclaimed his non-partisan beliefs. Meanwhile, we hear from another Yale classmate who recalls his heavy drinking as did another who identified herself as a Republican.

Yeah, I do. I think the women who witnessed his behavior at Yale are credible. I also saw one of Brett's buddies at the time on a Fox News video denying it and saying "he knew what Brett and his buddies were doing at every moment". I don't believe his buddy followed him around, 24/7, and knew whatever he was doing at "every moment". That is not credible.
