That's highly unlikely, Greg. Clarence rarely ever says anything. But everybody knows what he's going to say, anyway. These days, he probably texts it in...
Why don't you and Brett go out and celebrate by having a beer or two or three or so. Loosen him up a bit and listen to what he really has to say. I bet he's got some really bubbly recollections. Let us all know if that was really a heart-felt apology posted in the WSJ the other day or if he was just fooling. Bring Donald along, too. I bet he's doing back-flips knowing his pick thinks sitting presidents can't be "burdened" with criminal or civil matters. Even though Donald doesn't drink, I'll bet he'll drink to that one...

Well, I feel for the victim here. And by that I mean the real victim here. The victim of the political "hit" orchestrated by the leftists and directed by the Clintons as "revenge" for their loss in 2016. After all, he said his life was "ruined"! Anyone could tell by watching him and his halo on Fox News that he was absolutely the oppressed survivor of the "hit". You could almost hear the choir in the background sing "hallelujah" as he spoke. Then, in his own words, the "emotional" testament before the nation. The calm soul having his day in the sun, achieving justice and liberty that he was literally screaming for. (And by fifty votes, he got it!)
Well, I'm off to see if there are any "funerals for fetuses" in my locale.
Justice just has to prevail! Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!!!

Since Trump lies to the nation, on average, more that 5X/day, you may have simply lost track of them and fact checking will reveal John Delaney's commentary to be correct...

Oh Trump always pays his bills, just ask his friend and then have it fact checked:

He favors and embraces bipartisanship.
His good friend is Chief Justice John Roberts.
He's a self-made businessman.
He champions Democratic core values.
He often called a "centrist".
Who is he?

Shooting the rapids again? Perhaps not, a little late in the season would be my guess. Anyhow, hope you had fun.
Take your time thru the threads on Brett. Most senators can give a good speech now and then. Whatever your thoughts and those of Collins on him and his accuser, his own speech, penned in his own hand, with the intro devoted to attributing his troubles to a "hit" from the Clintons, as "revenge" for the 2016 election, is so asinine that it ought to destroy any credibility in what follows in his premeditated rant which he subsequently apologized for in the WSJ.

Jim,
But just think of all the fun you missed here.
I'm curious as to your view of his opinion that a sitting president can't be subpoenaed or otherwise "burdened" with either criminal or civil proceedings. I hadn't heard that one before and I can see why Trump put him on top of his list...

James,
Please don't confuse Greg with facts. They're either faked or biased, depending upon his preferences at the moment. It's kind of like Donald Trump telling his sheep that the polls are all bogus unless they show him ahead.

While I could cite numerous fact checks that Greg claimed, without evidence, that were either "biased" or simply dismissed with a flippant "Lol" or a moronic "snort", you need only look at the ones at hand to see more of the same on his part. Then, if you call him on it, you might see something along the lines of the above, complete with a smiley face.
Now, let's take a past example of failing to take a stand on his leader's position. Trump claimed that the invasion of Iraq by Dubya was one of the biggest mistakes ever made. At the time, I repeatedly asked Greg whether he agreed with Trump or not and he wouldn't even answer. So you either get an unsupported response from Greg when he doesn't like the result of a fact check, like an "Lol" or no response at all when he's called on something like my aforementioned example of Trump's position on Iraq.
