Synagogue Massacres Solved By A Melvin!

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Gun store owner Melvin Bernstein has decided to provide the perfect solution to protect you and your yarmulke the next time you visit your synagogue.
All ya gotta do is have your rabbi take him up on his offer of a free AR-15! That's right, he'll arm your rabbi with a brand new off the shelf AR-15, gratis!
Now, Melvin's tee shirt in the image states, "full auto, automatic weapon" so I don't know if he's tweaked 'em or not but, being a rabbi and all, I'd suppose the state would given them special dispensation and allow tacit approval for their use without prosecution, should something happen.

Leave it to a Melvin!...

WSJ Breaks Story: Trump's Involvement In Hush Money

It is called a Non disclosure agreement and it is done all the time.  The NY Attorney's office has been trying for over a year now to attach charges to Trump of campaign finance violations.  It isn't a violation when you use your own money.

So then, are you ready to indict John Conyers on his "hush money" payments to the women he sexually harassed?

Are you also ready to indict all the other Congressmen in Washington who were paying off women they sexually harassed over the years, with taxpayer money to do it?

I'm sure you're not, but I thought I'd check your response anyway.
Oh, ok lawyer and insider Rich Davis. The WJS should have consulted you first...

An Inconvenient Truth For The NRA

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Let me see,
Homicides: 5.1 per 100,000 people. US leads the 15 industrialized countries globally. And that doesn't include the assaults where somebody pulls a gun on somebody.
https://www.vox.com/2018/6/21/17488024/gun-ownership-violence-shootings-us
PER capita, it rises to to 10.6 putting it on par the Dominican Republic.
I previously referenced a study where kids in red states with loose gun restrictions are far more likely to die from guns than those in blue states with more restrictive gun restrictions. Oh, I forgot, guns don't kill kids, kids kill kids, right?
And as far as the inane and ludicrous comparison to abortions is concerned, I'll simply state the obvious, abortions performed legally are just that and not "murder"...

An Inconvenient Truth For The NRA

I still don't see Fred, Rich or Greg addressing the initial post of this thread, especially with regards to Fred's "excellent post", the one in which he calls the murders by gun violence with the particular set of stats he refers to as "statistically insignificant." But nowhere in Fred's "excellent post" did he reference gun violence related to assaults, wounded, maimed or paralyzed patients, the same kinds of patients modern medicine saves and who would otherwise appear in Fred's "statistically insignificant" numbers. You know, the very ones the trauma surgeons are talking about in the post.
And the NRA's response to all of this? "Stay in your lane"...
Geez..
Oh"
"But when it comes to gun deaths per capita, the U.S. ranks 20th, at a rate of 10.6 per 100,000 deaths — putting it on par with the Dominican Republic. Many places with high gun death rates had fewer deaths than the U.S. because of smaller populations."

And they are sure they will never be able to acquire the ability to own and care for a gun without something terrible happening. But they don't worry about it because they have decided if they don't think about it, it can't happen. They are probably right. They probably have only two days of food, also.
Mel,
I won't even bother with Rich's BS but I'll respond to yours:
Here are the recent stats:
"According to the website Gun Violence Archive, more than 12,000 people have been killed by firearms in the US so far this year, including about 3,000 people under the age of 18.
That number does not include an annual estimate of 22,000 suicides via firearms."
Mel, that's a lot. Victims of the Las Vegas shooting were present at the Thousand Oaks Bar and Grill shooting this past week. One of them was hit and killed. His mother said this:
"I don't want prayers, I don't want thoughts, I want gun control"
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-46150847
The shooter's mother said the same thing. And that's still not addressing those who were assaulted, wounded, paralyzed or otherwise disabled by firearms, ie the same ones not addressed by you or anyone else here, ie the same patients the traumas surgeons are talking about. The NRA's response remains the same "stay in your lane" and refused invitation for air time on CNN to respond...

Perhaps someone a bit more knowledgeable about this subject can elaborate on this.
No it is not. Read what. the fire captains said about Trump's ludicrous "tweet" yesterday. They said hwas was just plain "wrong". Now, Trump himself has finally come around to reality for a change and declared the regions affected as disaster areas deserving of federal funding...
