Could you show us the evidence, then? Are you talking about the email talking about payment from the FBI? The law requires the FBI to reimburse private companies for responses to a legal process. The FBI paid Twitter and many other social media companies. It was happening long before the "Twitter files" twinkled in Musk's eye. The FBI has a long history of working with private companies to combat foreign interference and disinformation. There is no conspiracy here.

I, too, looked at some Fox News reporting and found that they are quoting the FBI in its entirety regarding their response to the sensational "Twitter files" charges. So, even though Fox News is participating in some breathless reporting about the end of our democracy and other hyperbole, they are at least showing that what the FBI did is entirely in keeping with standard practice.
