Fox and Friends Rip Trump and Sanders On ISIS

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Our resident "expert" never thought of this:
"When Obama took office in January 2009, he inherited a plan that President George W. Bush forged in 2008 with then-Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. That Status of Forces Agreement called for the withdrawal of all American troops by the end of 2011."
"In short, he kept the 2011 timeline Bush and al-Maliki had chosen."

Merry Christmas to my old friends and foes in the politics forum

Jim,
Welcome back and happy holidays. You're right, things around here are pretty much the same, with Trump being the epic disaster we thought he'd be...

Anybody Find Merit In Rand Paul Remarks?

Paul easily asks his interviewers questions they can't answer.
No. Why not vacate our bases in South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, too? Trump decided to leave us in Iraq so how do Rand Paul's remarks jive with that?
We're dealing with organized terrorism in warfare in Syria and Afghanistan and not a civilian uprising. It's not a police action.

Manafort's Russian Connections During Campaign

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Time's reporting:
Former Russian intelligence officer Victor Boyarkin was in touch with Manafort during the 2016 US presidential campaign on behalf of Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska, who has close ties to the Kremlin, the magazine reported Saturday.
Boyarkin told Time magazine that he contacted Manafort to collect the debt he owed.
"He owed us a lot of money," Boyarkin told Time this past fall. "And he was offering ways to pay it back."

We don't need any more types like that with children we are forced to educate at massive taxpayer expense.

Those types are all over the world and it doesn't matter what color, creed, religion, or weight they are, they will simply be a drain on our society's resources.

Period, end of discussion.
Oh really? Graham just finished with a two hour meeting with Trump who now reportedly is ready to compromise with some sort of a physical barrier "in areas that make sense" in exchange for funding for DACA. Stay tuned...

It's Not A Wall?

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Outgoing chief of staff John Kelly said, "To be honest, it's not a wall". No concrete structure. Nope, nada.
Well, gee whizz. I heard and saw Donald John Trump call it that, many, many times. And who's going to pay for the wall?
Mexico. Who? Mexico! Who? MEXICO! That's M-E-X-I-C-O

The whole thing is being driven by Ann Coulter, Rush and wingnuts on Faux. They bullied Trump into the corner on this nonsense and here he sits...
