As for your world travelling?  I'm happy for you. 

If that fulfills some sort of void that you have, such that all you do, as you claim above, is think about your next trip to some far off place in order to give you a sense of purpose, then I say this in all seriousness, MORE power to you!! 

Hopefully these trips you take one after the next replace the emptiness you are feeling.  

Honestly, I don't need that and I have no desire to go on cruises as you do.  

Personally, I have friends at home so I don't have a desire to leave and try to find friends on a cruise.  

I've been to other continents and other countries, and my thing has always been that I would rather drive across the country in my car, as there is plenty to see in the USA.  

But since you don't seem to travel with even 1 friend and go by yourself everywhere, that might provide insight into who you are and how many people want to be around you.  Did you ever look inward and ask that question to yourself?    

Perhaps that is something to consider, eh?  

Lastly, if this forum is the place where you think these guys are your great friends because they share an astronomical interest, I have to say that is truly sad. 

Tell me Jim, how many of these guys here have you ever even had a conversation with on a phone?  My guess as to that number is 0.  But yet you think that they are your great friends?
