Just par for the course for our douchebag sycophant of the far right, although his utter hypocrisy is showing he's also a scumbag.

Hmm, which is worse, a douchebag or a scumbag? LOL.

Davis says the Atlantic journalist is a liar. Considering this whole administration is made up of nothing but liars led at the top by the Liar in Chief I'm surprised Davis doesn't have more respect for him. LOL

So, the best that he can do is call the guy a liar. Liars can still get inadvertent texts from a dumb former Faux News personality/incompetent and stupid Secretary of Defense.

He can deny it all he wants, still doesn't make the alleged not true. Will this be another hill Davis is willing to die on?

How did Goldberg come to the conclusion.....?  He read the emails.  Now you can read them too.

Hi Dave, I couldn't get that article to load, just the title and a slew of ads.

Trump’s national security adviser added a journalist to text chat on highly sensitive Yemen strike plans

I found it eleswhere.

Trump, asked about the matter on Tuesday, said: “It wasn’t classified information.” Hegseth, speaking to reporters Monday, said in part: “Nobody was texting war plans.”

https://www.cnn.com/2025/03/26/politics/the-atlantic-publishes-signal-messages-yemen-strike/index.html

Hegseth goes on to share the plans in extraordinary detail, according to The Atlantic:

1215et: F-18s LAUNCH (1st strike package)”
“1345: ‘Trigger Based’ F-18 1st Strike Window Starts (Target Terrorist is @ his Known Location so SHOULD BE ON TIME – also, Strike Drones Launch (MQ-9s)”
“1410: More F-18s LAUNCH (2nd strike package)”
“1415: Strike Drones on Target (THIS IS WHEN THE FIRST BOMBS WILL DEFINITELY DROP, pending earlier ‘Trigger Based’ targets)”
“1536 F-18 2nd Strike Starts – also, first sea-based Tomahawks launched.”
That information, according to The Atlantic, was received “two hours before the scheduled start of the bombing of Houthi positions.”

"Goldberg said on Wednesday the magazine decided to redact a sensitive piece of information out of their follow-up article.

“We did redact one piece of information because we felt, on our own, that we felt it was best to do. And the CIA asked us, but, you know, at a certain point, the administration is saying that there’s nothing classified or secret or sensitive in these so at a certain point, I just felt, you know, let our readers decide for themselves,” he said on MSNBC of the decision to publish the rest of the information.

Moments after The Atlantic published the text messages, the White House continued to push back and seek to discredit Goldberg’s reporting, though the National Security Council has verified the authenticity of the text thread."

Funny how Davis comes on with the administrations talking points ever time.

Nothing to see here, no harm, no foul, but what about that crooked Hillary's emails????

25% Tariffs on non US made cars?

Posted By Jim Moscheck

I have ordered and expect delivery of a new Mazda next month. Glad I didn't put any money down as there is no way I'm paying a 25% tariff. I'm sure I won't be only one choosing to not buy a new car. I was really looking forward to it as I haven't bought a new car this century and unless this changes I still won't. I'll expect used car prices will become more expensive, too.

Yep, that should really help the economy, huh?

Hmm, Tesla is number 1 and the only US automaker in the top 12 list of cars "mostly" made in the US. I guess one way to get Tesla sales up is to put 25% tariffs on the competition. Musk oughta get something for the $200M+ he spent to get Trump elected, right?

Wall Street should be fun tomorrow.

He's too predictable. LOL.

25% Tariffs on non US made cars?

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Called my brother in law who used to own the dealership for advice. The sales manager just called back after talking to him and I asked if the car I ordered would be subject to the tariff. He located it in port on the west coast and it has already been invoiced to the dealer so as far as tariffs go I'm in before the wire.

There is no way in hell I'd be paying an extra $10K trump tax on a $40K car. The dealership told me they have a very high inventory right now and they are in good shape for most cars, but not the model I wanted, for the immediate future, but when those are gone the replacements will be 25% more if Trump follows through on his tariffs.

C'mon, you don't you feel obligated to answer Davis' "questions"? I mean, he's always so thoughtful and moderated when he lays out his straw man arguments how can you not want to engage with him? LOL

Great images, Jim, you are getting really good at solar. I have a Lunt 60PT but don't use it very often and I've never tried imaging. Well, at least since the 90's when I was shooting film and piggybacking an Olympus OM1 on an SCT and doing wide field while hand guiding through a reticle eyepiece in the SCT for five minute long exposures. That was exhausting. I've been a visual only guy since then except for some aurora shots using a DSLR.
