PayPal’d $10 to promote my ad then nothing

Here's the receipt. When I went thru the payment process the system did not confirm, just returned me to Astromart, this could be a one time hickup.

I am still not getting some people’s response to my ads and vice versa. Deals sometimes have to be made over the personal message system.

Possibly related: I leave feedback, such as for user jjbird, but does not show up in my feedback left for list or his received list.

Accidental ad deletions fix suggestion.

My fat fingers keep deleting ads I am editing. If you accidentally hit delete it is gone forever into the nebula 404, in some cases an hour’s work lost. The button is dangerously close to the edit button.

Suggested Fixes:

— Add a confirmation step that you really do want to delete this ad.
— Move the delete button away from the edit button, a line or more.
— Shrink the width of the delete button from full screen to half or a quarter.
— Note to self: lose some weight you slob!


Note especially annoying when just paid 10 bucks to promote ad to front page then boom

Delay when promoting ad to Featured?

Normally if I promote an ad to the Featured front page it happens immediately. This morn I updated a long running C14 ad adding a bunch of photos and paid the $10 to put it on Featured (surely a bargain, visibility makes a difference). The changes took, but even the note appears that ad featured till 2/2 I don’t see it there. Anyone?

Although unobtainiam I am asking PreciseParts to make me one, which he will add to his online app and anyone can order. However even though I know the specs (M37x0.75mm male) he requires official documentation, and I am asking the group mind out there for a drawing, spec sheet, photos. He says:

“We can certainly add an entry in our database for the Optolith ocular adapter but in order to do so we need the official thread specifications, perhaps from the user’s manual or the brand dealer, plus a quoted drawing or photos of the thread.

Please let us know if we can assist you further. Thank you,”

can anyone out there help?

So only the SKGrimes drawing above truly replicates the functionality of the original. It will be many weeks till I have one and can certify it truly works, but its so simple a part its very low risk. You can take a chance and order one sending an order with that print, they do respond to emails. The overall diameter unshown is 40mm, I am going to change to 45mm
