The removal of the close advisor and counselor to the president is the determination of the federal office, and its Trump-appointee supervisor, that oversees violations of the Hatch act. In KellyANNE's case, there have been many and she has ignored warnings to stop. When the story broke a few days ago, Trump got up on his hind legs and immediately called Fox and Friends who all nodded approvingly when he said this was a clear violation the CONSTITUTIONAL freedom of speech RIGHTS of KellyANNE Conway. All of the presidents pundits appear to be jumping on the bandwagon with righteous indignation to protect Ms KellyANNE Conway's RIGHT to freedom of speech. 
However, this argument has already been heard and rejected by the courts, including the supreme court which have upheld the provisions of the Hatch act. Yes, you are entitled to freedom of speech but you can't utter statements, such as repeatedly attacking an opposition party member, while working as a government employee on government property. The president and KellyANNE know this but are obviously ignoring the rule of law.
