AR 756 in White light (May 1)Posted By Paul Maxson |
Hi all,
Well yesterday was very odd. I woke to thick, but high clouds. The sun barely showed. I wrote it off as a lost day for imaging AR756. Then about 10am local time the sun shown brighter than all day so far. I checked it out and sure enough it was about 50/50 clouds and clear. I figured, what the heck (and applauded myself for having a nice "Grab and Go" solar scope. I was setup in 5 minutes and AR756 showed nice and crisp. Getting the camera attached I could see some really, really good frames and some truly terrible frames. Well, that's what hand picking frames is all about, right?? I managed 4 avi's before it socked in again. All were pretty nice. I finally decided the linked image was the best of the lot, even after enlarging it by 10%. I actually think it may be the best solar image I have shot so far.

Thanks!!
