I'm guessing he gave up on all his stated degree work and while maybe starting them didn't finish any of them, except for maybe a two year associates degree, which might qualify him for repair work as Jim B. stated. Nurse, physics major, BME all take math and the latter two calculus and differential equations which he stated and never refuted he's ever taken.
