The (Latest) Texas Mass ShootingPosted By Rod Kaufman |
Here are the basics:
The truck driver dude got fired from his job. He got really pissed-off. He got pulled-over on a traffic stop. He sprayed three officers with his AR-15 at his side, correctly described by the Midland PD as an "assault rifle". He was engaged by an armed private citizen who tried but couldn't withstand the lethality of an AR-15 and the shooter shot 'em dead. He proceeded to kill or wound his other victims until his commandeered postal delivery truck was rammed by a police vehicle and the police shot the shooter dead.
In response to the above, a Texas REPUBLICAN lawmaker stated we don't need more gun control laws. We, instead, need to pray. Another official in Texas gave his list of priorities such as donating blood, providing appropriate communications, aid and comfort BUT the most important thing to do is to pray.
Now, this case illustrates how an AR-15 -armed shooter can take down trained multiple trained officers/ private armed citizens/ and continue to do so while driving down the road. So you do have to pray.
Or:
It's just to bad Rich "Dagger" Davis or Mel "Melvin" Maki weren't around to handle the situation because they really know what they're talking about when it comes to these types of scenarios. Greg "Shooter" Shaffer probably could have ended it sooner but he was too busy observing...
