Yeah, it defies belief that could even think up doing shit like that... it must be their specialty.

PS: Maybe the Republicans in the senate will have read the complaints by then...

The more Jake pushed back on his nonsense and wild allegations the more frenzied Jordan got. Tapper had no choice but to just end the interview prematurely.
I saw Jim Jordan interviewed. What a wild man. He evidently believes his own baseless rantings.
On the same side of the same coin, we've got a softer-spoken Lindsey Graham pulling the same crap on the transcripts of the call itself,  ignoring and deleting the incriminating part wherein Trump tries to parry favors for obtaining dirt on Biden. They always seem to forget that part....

The Biden ship is sinking.

Of course, this reporter for the Hill and a couple of other reporters that also have this take could be making all of this stuff up for a headline or to defend Trump. I think it more likely Biden has not been truthful.
Yeah Mel, they're so one-sided that they have the president's own people on their networks being interviewed for their side of the story, no matter how crazy they come off sounding in the process. Meanwhile, a Fox news pundit called the whistleblower a "rotten little snitch". And that's in addition to other conservatives, including the president, who have called the whistleblower a "political hack" and they don't even know who he or she is...

How quickly some become emotional and advocates for Biden? At their best, reporters make some effort to hide their political leanings.
I would not be surprised if the president knew something about the "whistleblower."

I used quotes because the Dems (reportedly) changed the law just before this so 2nd hand info can be considered "whistleblower.)
Perhaps this will turn out to not be the case and the report they changed the law is in error.
No Mel, I read what you stated, quoted it and responded to it accurately. The emotional response I've seen on multiple networks and interviews have come from the supporters of the president and his own surrogates. In fact, Rudy has been a virtual "regular" on Fox on a daily basis, not to mention other networks. So much so in fact, that the Biden campaign is asking for equal time to respond to his baseless attacks or to stop giving him airtime altogether.
Equally ridiculous is your statement : "I would not be surprised if the president knew something about the "whistleblower."  He has no idea who it might be and has, in fact,  demanded to know today. Finally, the whistleblower law has been on the books long before Trump entered office and nobody has "changed" the law.

You guys can squabble all you want today. I'm off to services for Rosh Hashanah today which are being hosted by a methodist church. Nothing a like a bit of Judeo-Christian cooperation, right?. But now I gotta hope and pray I don't get my ass shot off by some Trump-inspired peckerwood!

Jim,
Thanks for your the new year greetings and the news update. It appears the Trump contagion is moving faster and further than we thought while infecting more people.
Going international while shopping for support to defeat Biden is snowballing downward and right back where it came from...

So much for the hearsay/second hand info argument, now debunked:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/30/politics/icig-statement-whistleblower-complaint/index.html
I knew it was just a matter of time before it was debunked. I've seen this same sort of stuff from these GOP clowns and their cronies as well as from their supporters. It takes a week or so before the determination comes out from the world of reality versus the alternative universe some of these people apparently live in...

It's only been changed on the astromart...

Senator Angus King, an Independent from Maine who is very much his own man, had his staffers read the transcript from the call at a normal speaking tone and timed the call at a bit over 10 minutes while the WH has the official time at 30 minutes. We now know Pompeo was on the call, too. So what's on the other 20 minutes?...
