And she, and another GOP senator, who represent the 578,803 who live in Wyoming, have the same voting power in the senate as the two senators from California who represent 39.24 million. Now that's representation...

With regards to your statement about Dobbs, it's clear the conservative judges did NOT adhere to precedent, and couldn't give a rat's butt about how unpopular their decision might be.  That's why the SCOTUS is rating so low in public opinion polls.

It is true that the judges overruled precedent in Dobbs, which they do not do lightly.  They do reject precedent sometimes though, when higher concerns of constitutional interpretation demand it.  These are some of the Court's bravest and most influential decisions.  Like when the Court overruled the precedential case  Plessy v.  Ferguson with the Brown v. Board of education decision.

FWIW, I strongly disagree with surgical alteration of minors with gender dysphoria.   I suspect this is very rare.  I do not endorse it.  Personally, I am very thankful that I have never had to choose between surgically altering a child and their suicide, which appears to be the horrible choice some of these parents are faced with.  So, I am not nearly as willing as you are to condemn them.

With respect to politics, I have not seen any indication in your post or elsewhere that the Dr. or this family you cite are "leftists."  For all we know they are right wingers.  You just made the assumption that they are "leftists" up out of whole cloth.  Shame on you.

Precisely.  We are a union of 50 states.  It has worked well.  Imagine if Wyoming had as many house members as Cali, or as many electoral college votes.  One state, one vote!  Has a nice ring to it for us living outside of California.  

Fortunately for you, the founders made the great compromise.
