Here are a couple more images made with my ED100 of Jupiter. Sure wish I had my C925!! At least it arrived at Celestron safely.

Hi all,

Seeing went all to heck the past few days, but I tried and got some images anyway. Not sure why they are as red as they are, but at least we recognize them as Jupiter. The May 9 image is of the Io shadow.

Hi all,

Here are two images of Jupiter from the evenings of May 12 and May 13. Thanks to Ivan Gastaldo and Ed Roach I have learned a lot about reproducing better colour. I still have a ways to go, but I think I am going in the right direction. Next images to post are of AR758 and AR759 on the Sun....coming very soon.

Getting a lot of images processed today. These are images I shot on Friday May 13, 2005. It's always fun when we can get an image of a large sunspot group on the limb. AR758 was such an image.

More images from the weekend. The seeing was not great, but the images are reasonable (I think). I am trying to match colour to Hubble images, I just wish I understood graphics programs and theory better.
