An Interesting Book

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you have read the book "The Rise of Christianity" by Sociologist Rodney Stark. It is a very interesting secular look on the rise of Christianity, it's effects and interactions with the prevailing culture.

Also it puts to rest a lot of misconceptions on what early Christianity was. The treatment of this book is very secular and some of the things written might scandalize some Christians.. But it is a very good book to read as it how Christianity rose and basically what is wrong with Christianity now.

For those who don't like Christianity, this book will be an eye opener as it puts to rest a lot of misinformation on what Christianity was in the first 400 years.

First Jupiter of the Season

Here's my first image of Jupiter of the Season. Jupiter was only 18.5 degrees above the horizon. Note the GRS rising and a white oval at the STB. Carlos, is this the Oval BA or is this a new oval? More info at:

Jupiter 12/11 Red NEB

Hello

Here's my latest image of Jupiter. There is a large barge at the CM and the NEB has turned reddish brown. This may be the boring side of Jupiter but lots of interesting activities are going on.
