Re: Death count

I also wonder just how many of those counted as civilians had been shooting AK 47s or RPGs before they were shot. It's not like the bad guys are wearing uniforms.

Republicans let assault weapons ban lapse

Posted By Ronald Durall
Why should the government ban guns on the basis of looks anyway. The ban was for feel good politics and never has solved any problems with the misuse of guns. :S The high capacity magazine ban actually drove the gun market to develop more small concealable handguns for personal carry. Now I did appreciate that as I have a concealed carry permit. Their are millions of 20 and 30 round magazines that were preban and grandfathered under the Clinton ban and are still available for purchase. Perhaps the US should just concentrate on controlling criminals instead. The ban should be allowed to lapse! wink

Kitty's Book.......

It's the new McCarthyism. One liberal makes a outragious statement and the rest latch on to it and start repeating it as gospel. No need for proof the charge is enough evidence. Need a statement, no problem, just make one up. The media will repeat it until the unethical accept it as fact.

That's Outrageous

Posted By Ronald Durall
I was watching the news a couple of days ago and they reported a story on a university where the freshmen can fail all their tests yet receive a passing grade for the year if they only show up for class consistently. 60% of their grade the first year is just for showing up. After that the second year 50% then 40% and so on. Only in their final year is their performance really tested.

Assault Weapons Ban/Victims

The more Liberals harp on gun control the more they loose. So I think you "progressives" out there should keep right on harping. It will probably cost you 2008 too.
