Would anyone with experience with this scope please share some thoughts with me? I am considering getting into birding but have limited financial resources($400-$600). How does the Master Birder compare with the Pentax PF80-ED or the Televue Pronto? Thanks for any info you can share.

I have an 8" f8 dob that has irrigation aluminum as the tube, therefore somewhat heavy. A recent operation has limited my ability to carry heavy items, so I was thinking of using a lighter material for the tube. Any suggestions?

Would anyone please share any experience with this scope? I have a chance to purchase one used and don't know much about it. I am using an F5 102mm right now and get purple hazing at about 60X. Can I expect this in the KOWA also?
