Heard about his latest scam? His sons are selling "commemorative coins" with Trump's face on them for $12,000 apiece with Trump as the beneficiary and will be sold for the upcoming gladiator fights in the recently erected colossus in front of the WH. Hey Rich, care to buy one?...
Rich won't respond. Lately he just makes "drive by" posts to use a phrase one of his hero's Rush Limburg used to use to describe the MSM. He never responds to any actual conversations here as everyone knows.

Trump Says His Surrender Document To Be Signed Soon...

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Please tell me how this is a win. Surrender document indeed. The Art of the Deal?

Investing $300B in rebuilding Iran after spending at least 1 Trillion for the war including the higher debt payments and costs of replacing munitions. "The war in Iran costs America two billion dollars each day, says war budgeting expert Linda Bilmes—and will cost at least one trillion overall."

https://www.hks.harvard.edu/faculty-research/policy-topics/international-relations-security/why-war-iran-so-expensive

Lifting all sanctions, both from the US and from the UN Security Council? Letting Iran start pumping all of the oil they want?

Letting Iran develop their nuclear program levels at the status quo?

Issue wavers for exports of not only Iranian crude oil, but petrochemical products and their derivatives, and all related services, including banking, insurance, transportation, and the like?

Frozen or restricted funds and assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be released and made fully available?

Here is the complete draft of the 14-point memorandum of understanding Trump has signed. I bolded the parts that I questioned.

1 — The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, together with their allies in the current war, declare upon the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding an immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, and undertake that from now on they will not launch any hostile action against each other, and will refrain from the threat or use of force against each other. The final agreement will confirm the provisions of this Article and the remaining Articles.

2 — The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States undertake to respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to refrain from interfering in each other’s internal affairs.

3 — The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States undertake to negotiate and reach a final agreement within a maximum period of 60 days, extendable by mutual consent.

4 — Immediately upon the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, the United States lift the naval blockade and prevent any interference or obstruction against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and restore traffic within a maximum of 30 days to its full capacity; the traffic of ships shall be proportional to the pre-war volume of traffic on the part of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The United States also undertakes to withdraw its forces from the surrounding areas within 30 days after the final agreement.

5 — Upon signing this Memorandum of Understanding, the Islamic Republic of Iran will immediately take steps to ensure that the movement of merchant ships from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman and vice versa is resumed within 30 days to the pre-war volume, taking into account the need for the removal of technical obstacles and the neutralization of mines by Iran.

6 — The United States undertakes, together with its regional partners, to create a comprehensive plan agreed upon by both parties for the rehabilitation and economic development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while ensuring financing of at least $300 billion. The implementation mechanism of this plan, as part of the final agreement, will be formulated within 60 days.

7 — The United States commits to ending, on a schedule to be agreed upon as part of the final agreement, all types of sanctions currently facing the Islamic Republic of Iran, including resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and all unilateral U.S. sanctions, both primary and secondary.

8 — The Islamic Republic of Iran reiterates that it will never produce nuclear weapons. The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States have agreed that the fate of enriched material and the fate of all other mutually agreed nuclear-related issues, including Iran’s nuclear needs, will be adequately addressed in a final agreement; the final agreement will confirm the provisions of this Article.

9 — The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States agree that, pending a final agreement, they will maintain the status quo: Iran will maintain the status quo on its nuclear program, and the United States will not impose new sanctions on Iran or strengthen its forces in the region.

10 — The United States undertakes that immediately after the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, and until the date of the lifting of sanctions, the United States Treasury Department will issue waivers for exports of Iranian crude oil, petrochemical products and their derivatives, and all related services, including banking, insurance, transportation, and the like.

11 — The United States undertakes that, in light of the progress of negotiations towards a final agreement, frozen or restricted funds and assets of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be released and made fully available. These funds, whether held in the master account or transferred, will be used for any final beneficiary payment determined by the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran and will be fully available for use. The United States undertakes to issue all necessary permits and licenses on this basis.

12 — The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States agree that an implementation mechanism will be established to oversee the successful implementation of and future commitment to the Final Agreement.

13 — Following the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, and upon receipt of assurances regarding the commencement of implementation of Articles 4, 5, 10, and 11 of this Memorandum of Understanding, and the continued implementation of these steps, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States will enter into negotiations for a Final Agreement solely with respect to the remaining Articles.

14 — The final agreement will be approved through a binding resolution of the UN Security Council.

Maybe Richard will come out of hiding to tell me I'm wrong and how great his fearless leader is that negotiated this deal?

Ain't that the truth.

And the resident narcissist of the forum is AWOL and has nothing to say about this awesome deal his fearless leader has made with Iran.

They both are shameless asshats.

Trump Gave A State Fair Nobody Came

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Trump said there were 45,000 people to hear his opening speech. Estimates put it at more like 1,000 with people walking out during it. Kind of sad really. I doubt Trumps ever been to a real state fair. I graduated HS during the bicentennial and it was a much bigger deal than what this 250th anniversary seems to be.

I was in San Diego for the 4th of July in 1976 and that was a really good party. We were on bikes and rode them along the beach all the way from La Jolla to the harbor. Numerous bands were playing on the decks of beach houses and folks were having a lot of fun everywhere. Saw the Star of India on it's first sailing in the harbor after being refurbished. Called my folks back in Michigan from a payphone and they saw it live on TV.

Today would be a good day to...

I live about eight miles from the new bridge. About six years of construction along I 75 on the way downtown and it's also always backed up around the Ambassador Bridge due to truck traffic. When the new bridge finally opens the Marouns monopoly goes away and I predict much lower traffic due to the new bridge connecting with the 401. The Ambassador Bridge empties out onto surface roads and it takes a while to get to the 401.

Corruption running amuck and right out in the open with the Marouns and Trump yet no one seems to care. If Obama or Biden made 2 billion dollars while in office, mostly from crypto currency, and lost a war with Iran MAGA and their minions would be screaming their lungs out about it.

"Key details of the deal and the resulting investments include:The Negotiation: President Trump and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick negotiated the mining agreement with Kazakhstan's president in late 2025, pushing for U.S.-based Kaz Resources to develop the untapped tungsten reserves."

"The Investment: Within weeks of the negotiations, a firm partly owned by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump took a roughly 20% stake in the Kazakhstan mining project"

"Financial Ties: Simultaneously, Cantor Fitzgerald—the investment bank controlled by the Lutnick family—helped secure hundreds of millions of dollars in new capital for the project's key investors, a move that typically yields millions in fees."

"The U.S. Backing: The project is seeking up to $1.6 billion in U.S. government-backed financing to get the mine off the ground, causing ethics watchdogs to raise concerns over perceived conflicts of interest. The Response: The White House and representatives for the Trump and Lutnick families have defended the arrangement, stating the government's backing is based entirely on national and economic security goals and that the sons serve strictly as passive investors." Looks like at least one Michigan lawmaker is calling out Trump on the delay of the bridge opening. Good for her. I've liked her since the impassioned speech that went viral that she gave in April 2022 which I posted about in this forum.

https://www.astromart.com/forums/commentary-careful-read-the-terms-of-service/politics/michigan-state-senator-mallory-mcmorrows-speech-yesterday?page=1#post188583

"The delayed opening of a bridge connecting Michigan and Canada is spilling into one of the country's most closely watched Senate races, as Democratic candidate Mallory McMorrow launches the first major effort to turn the controversy into a political liability for U.S. President Donald Trump and Republicans.

McMorrow's new ad, shared first with The Associated Press, accuses Trump of blocking the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge and suggests he is doing so to benefit a major political donor, building on an anti-corruption message she has sought to make central to her campaign.

She's got my vote.
