LBJ used the FBI, CIA, IRS, against his political opponents.

FDR used the IRS against media and opponents.

Dems want no charges on any serious Dem abuses.
You don't know what you're talking about. (What else is new), you think hear some crap somewhere or read something, not cited here, like an opinion piece and then just rattle it off like it's some kind of a fact. There's a world of difference if a whistleblower goes to a media rep versus a legal procedure to file a complaint and you don't know the difference. If there's a leak attendant with the latter then you can expect someone to be assigned to the case to find out why.
OTH, Trump shakes down a foreign government for his own personal gain and you think it's the same thing. It isn't, not even close...

That's for a fair trial to determine, not you.

Oh, one more thing, Melvin, how many people died in Benghazi and how many Republican-led investigations did we have? And what did they determine? Nothing. These incidents have been investigated. Nobody in Obama's administration was ever indicted for anything. Look at how many Trump people are doing time or are awaiting sentencing. For once, connect the freaking dots...

The Republican senators latest idea of a "fair" trial: Any potential testimony from Bolton has to be in private and can't be divulged publicly and the evidence of impeachment has to be heard late at night where most Americans won't hear it. The Bidens, of course, have to be front and center during prime time as if they're on trial.
Now that's what I call a fair trial, Greg and Melvin style...

I'm not happy about the politics of Moscow Mitch and I'm fed up with the lie-a-thon of Trump but nobody's trying to ruin my life other than what's happening in the degradation of the environment under the Trump administration. Beyond that, the post you reacted to is the current Republican playbook of which you subscribe to but if you have a problem with that maybe there's hope for you yet...

Anybody convinced their party is even 75% correct is really, really mistaken. And it is true that past presidents have done things worse than Trump. This is political and cheapens impeachment. Impeachments that take the party line with Ds on one side and Rs on the other are wrong.
Frank Biden is linked to 54 million in loans in an area he has no experience. If you are related to VP Biden you don't have to take a vow of poverty but it is stupid to say it doesn't stink, a lot.
I don't subscribe to a Rep playbook unless the Dem playbook is worse and I have to choose.

Got anything of substance or just words written by some guy at Axios?

From the article:

 Hunter Biden’s work:

  • True: Beginning in 2014, Hunter Biden served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, that faced allegations of corruption. He was paid "as much as $50,000 per month," per the NYT.
  • False: His work for Burisma was being investigated by a Ukrainian prosecutor.
  • The investigation didn't involve Hunter, and was not being actively pursued at the time in question.

That is the whole thing that the author wrote about "Biden's work"

Rich's crap and Fox news cocka that goes with is right down there with the GOP senators denying documents and testimony from people like Bolton...

True but that doesn't include the GOP "jurors" in the senate who reportedly weren't at their desks or were observed doing crossword puzzles while they were supposed to be listening to the proceedings. They were, however, quite attentive during Mitch's meetings on how to deny witness testimony and/or block relevant documents. Likewise, those Republican fans of Fox couldn't watch the proceedings because the network ran Hannity all day long during prime time as he offered his ongoing opinion that Trump is innocent just like his "perfect call". Of course, the Biden's have been tried and convicted. Hannity resides so far up Trump's anus he has a major metamucil malfunction every day...

Purpura was excellent, and as you indicated, essentially in 1 hour, he completely destroyed the Democrat's case.  It was an epic take down.
Here's what Purpura left out:

Purpura did not include the testimony of Laura Cooper, the Pentagon official who stated emails her office received from Ukrainians about the aid on the same day as Trump's phone call with the Ukrainian President.
Nor did he mention documents that show Ukrainians concerned about the holdup in early August, reported on by The New York Times. Or the fact that the GAO determined Trump's holdup of aid to the Ukraine was illegal.
But considering Greg and Rich show the same level of attentiveness to the Democrat's presentation as did those Republican senators that either were playing crossword puzzles or away from their desks, it's not surprising that whatever Trump's lawyer said today was taken as an "epic takedown." Pardon me while I puke..,.
