I'd love to see Trump indicted for legitimate, provable crimes.  If they take a shot at prosecution, then they better get an unambiguous conviction of a real crime.  Otherwise, here comes Trump winning again in '24.  In that event, I would like to see Adam Schiff suffer the consequences, since he has been promising to bring Trump down for years.

I'm with David on the merits of the whole mishandling of classified documents story.  Both sides do it.  Nothing is going to happen.  It is a dead political issue.

A little off topic but funny:  Meanwhile, the Brunson brothers, after having the supreme court refusing to hear their case, are moving to "Plan C" to have the 2020 election overturned and Trump reinstated as president. Ok, but wasn't the big deal with Hunter's laptop not classified docs, but that it might have evidence that Biden, allegedly "the big guy," might have received kick-backs from his scum son's illicit dealings with Ukraine and China?  Not sure if that is a conspiracy theory or not, there seems to be some there there.  It seems undeniable that Hunter is scum and cashed in the family name for millions.  He didn't get the job with Burisma based upon experience or talent!  Maybe Joe was totally oblivious to it, but I doubt it.  

About now Richard will post a long screed detailing Hunter's illicit international business dealings and the payments to the big guy.  Unfortunately Richard will put enough nastiness and venom into the screed that it will be easy to dismiss as the ravings of an internet crank.  You hear me Rich?  Can't always shoot the messenger though.  I'm no expert, but it seems like Hunter's foreign business affairs need investigating as much as anything they are investigating now.  I'd be happy to see the Trump kids investigated too, since they seem to have cashed in quite well also.  This is a particularly disgusting side of politics.  Loser adult children, brothers and the like cashing in.

Rod, you are as predictable and gullible as anyone I've ever interacted with.  Keep on believing that Nikki Haley is a white sumpremacist!  CNN is digging deep now!  Equating Haley to Trump is not enough.  Now she has to be tied to white nationalists!  CNN must be terrified!   

There is no difference in degree between CNN and Fox, they are widely accepted to be equally biased in opposite directions.  You know that right?

CNN is presenting Nikki Haley as a White Sumpramacist as we speak.  Rod laps it up.  CNN knows this characterization of Haley is a lie.  They are doing it to stoke the base (Rod) and make money.  There is no difference between CNN and Fox in slant, institutional dishonesty, motivation and the naivete of their fan boys.   Jim

You can include me Jim.  I disagree with Rod totally on this.  My point is that the political reporting on Fox and CNN are each hyper-biased, intentionally dishonest, and carefully crafted to reach a target audience and make money.   Both networks do an adequate job of reporting regular news of course.  I am talking about politics.  They are opposite, but equivalent.

The fact that Rod can not see this about CNN is stunning to me.  Same with anyone who happens to think Fox is reporting/opining truthfully about politics.  Jim

CNN pushed the Trump/Russian collusion lie big time.  They undoubtedly knew it was a lie.  Do you really think that particular lie is not as large-scale and damaging to our civic institutions as Trump's stolen election lie?  I think they are equivalent.  The debate of which big lie was more pervasive, damaging to our institutions, nakedly untruthful and so on would be an exercise in hair splitting.  

Cue Rod to claim that Trump did in fact collude with Russia to steal the 2016 election.   Jim

I think there are ongoing investigations of the Saudi "investment" in Kushner's firm and into the Ukrainian or Chinese "investments" into Biden's firms.  Am I wrong about that?  I too am not optimistic that these investigations will amount to much.

I doubt Haley can get the nomination.  There will be a lot of headwind.  But if she were to get the nomination,  I will immensely enjoy watching you and like-minded spin doctors at CNN twist and lie to convince yourselves that this proud, accomplished, and intelligent woman (who isn't even white) is in fact a White Supremacist who advocates for secession!  You will only be convincing yourselves because if Haley runs, Joe loses the youth and suburban mom vote, a significant portion of the minority vote, and thus the EC, by a lot. 

A debate between Haley and Biden would have to be stopped midway, just to be humane to the old codger!  

I suppose you agree with CNN's Don Lemmon that not only is Haley a white-supremacist secessionist, but that she is indeed "past her prime" because, you know, women peak at 20 or so.  You could Google it....  Sorry, even Don Lemmon gave a "sorry, not sorry" about that lovely bit of mysogyny.  

Reread my initial post.  Nothing that CNN publishes about Haley will surprise me, no matter how big the lie.  I will also be speechless if you do not buy the lies CNN is (and will be) spreading from now until Haley wins.
