Well hot damn is right!  It hasn't even BEEN a crisis for months yet, so how in hell could he have ignored it for months.

He was the first to shut off travel from China to the USA 7 weeks ago.

Of course why let the facts get in the way when you can lie and exaggerate instead.  LOL

And Forrest Jr. proves over and over that he's stuck on death rate percentages from a month prior.

It apparently doesn't matter to him that since more and more people are testing positive without succumbing to the virus, that makes the death rate % go down.

He and Forrest Senior have never been much for mathematical accuracy though.  wink

How's Wuhan World Going In Your State?

To date, every state in the union has reported on the Wuhan Coronavirus but one: West Virginia. Every other state has got it. In my Trump town, it all can be summarized as follows,  "Sold Out!"
We know what those essentials are: Toilet Paper! If you don't have it, you ain't gonna get it. Followed by water, milk, eggs etc.
Yup, we're definitely prepared for this(sadNot)

I'm scheduled to attend an outdoor(indoor, if raining) wedding on April 4th. An attendance of 250 is expected. I'm curious to see how that turns out.

Basically, I'm just trying to keep things as normal as possible under somewhat surreal circumstances. Overall, I'd say that I'm not particularly worried about things; just patiently waiting for all this to run its course.smile Other than having to deal with minor inconveniences, the matter is not at the forefront of my mind.
Figures...

The Hammer and the Dance..... Why mitigation is not enough.

Jim Brown said, "We have excellent reasons to think that the rates of increase will not accelerate". Are you crazy? The projected infection rate in California is currently 56%. We don't have the tests so we really don't yet know and you can't say in your state because the single drive thru closed due to lack of supplies. Just because one or two cases may have been reported in one county or town, it doesn't mean that others haven't been infected. We don't know because the delay in the response from the feds and their current policy of relying on the private sector within the states to provide for their own equipment is a dismal failure...

Rand Paul tested positive today, no symptoms at all, so far.
A lot of people find it perplexing that our actors, sports figures, and politicians are being tested, most without symptoms, while the rest aren't until they have symptoms or have come into contact with someone who does...

Russ, like James, being irrational, don't follow Rich very well and if you did you'd realize Mr Trump was on this , consulting with world leaders, meeting with governors, and coordinating a federal response with all 50 states. And stop politicizing while you're at it...

Hopefully we'll know in two-three weeks whether the social distancing and closures are having a positive affect or not.  We know that we will always underestimate the number of cases by a lot as we count positive test results, since we only test the very sick, the rich, and the famous.  And have not done a decent job of testing the very sick so far.  2.  We and other free countries should be able to reliably report the number of deaths.  So, the death graphs are going to be very informative about the effects of social distancing etc, but lagging by at least several weeks.
