Given the tax breaks large corporations have already received throughout the years, I can understand the consternation from the Sanders/Warren camps and like you, I don't know the details of the stimulus plan at this point, but my point is it's a helluva lot greater than what Obama had to do, and the Republicans at the time were painting our children's children into poverty before they were born. Remember those debt clock the cons in the forum were posting every few days? Now there is one hold out in the senate that refuses to acknowledge the stimulus plan and that's Moscow Mitch. He can't bring himself to call it a stimulus plan; he calls it a coronavirus relief program! If that's his idea of a relief program, I'd hate to see his idea of a stimulus plan...

And that may not be enough...
Remember all that crap the GOP gave Obama about our grandkids saddled with debt due to the stimulus package in the great recession?

The continued lying and misinformation is no surprise, but why delay it any further? Is it because the hardest hits are in CA and NY right now, and he wants to punish Pelosi and Schumer? Is he buying time to ensure his friends and donors in the private sector have time to benefit financially? Is he saving it for the swing states? Is it because he wants to be able to loudly proclaim that free-markets provided and federal intervention wasn't necessary? Whatever it is, it is criminal that we still don't have enough testing or medical supplies in place. Trump is lethally incompetent, and I don't believe anything coming out of this administration unless it's coming from Dr. Fauci.

Fort Worth just closed all but essential services; groceries, pharmacies, and necessary medical facilities are all that remain open. I have to give props to Betsy Price for making this call. Undoubtedly, the suburbs in and around Fort Worth will be conforming to similar actions.
China should bear serious economic repercussions for it's malfeasance and Trump should suffer a landslide loss in November for his.
Like many in America, the cons on the forum have no idea how bad it is. An Israeli doctor treating in Italy says they no longer treat patients over 60.  In Israel there are about 950 cases with 20 critical and the IDF is being asked to provide 16 battalions to enforce a lockdown on the country. Here, governors are saying "it's the wild west out there" with regards to getting medical supplies from the federal government which shows how incompetent the direction is from the commander in chief. Meanwhile,  gun sales in the US are soaring and I can just see the cons on the forum running down to their local gun stores to buy more glocks with their federal stimulus rebates...

"China silenced coronavirus whistleblowers, expelled journalists, destroyed samples, refused CDC help, and concealed counts of deaths and infections. It's fact there was a massive coverup. China is responsible. The world must act to hold them accountable," the former U.N. ambassador tweeted

Newt's Ideas On Post Infection America

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Actually, he's got some good ideas. I like this statement:
"It tells you something about the scale of the crisis – and the daring boldness of President Trump as an entrepreneur – that he is prepared to defend the largest government handout to individuals in American history. It will be fascinating to see how Americans respond when they get the checks and have the money."
In this forum, IMO, our two cowboys, Greg and Rich, will use it to run out and by more glocks, never can have enough.
I also doubt our cowboys will believe Newt when he staes,
"Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore have all done a better job than the western countries. We ought to have the courage to admit this and study these countries to figure out what they are doing that we can learn, emulate and even improve upon."
Yeah, good luck with that with a president like Trump...

Not That We're Counting But...

Since nobody commented on the veracity of the claims of our fearless leader, I'll assume you believe in reality and accept the fact-check from CNN. (Good choice!)
Now, as an aside, I'll link to a youtube presentation wherein Amazon Basics 5-30 synthetic motor oil is pitted against a very expensive motor oil called Liqui Moly made in Germany. Amazon Basics oil is the same as Supertech motor oil from Walmart and Kirkland motor oil from Costco and all are made by Warren oil out of Omaha and has been around making motor oil for around 100 years. So, this test applies to all the commonly available motor oils from the aforementioned sources. I'll cut to the chase and let you know Amazon Basics kicked butt!
