That's nice that he's worried about the health of everyone but it would be asinine to listen to ONLY his opinion on the subject and nobody else's.

I'd like to know what Thomas Sowell or another brilliant economist thinks about what would happen to this nation if we shut everything down.'

Perhaps we should consult him and then take his advice.  What do you think he would say?

One needs to look past the nose on one's face.
Lol! The virus determines when this nation gets back on its feet and the states that have governors that have been way too slow to act accordingly aren't the economic powerhouses of the economy anyway...

He didn't leak it and it's not a national secret. The conditions on that ship have been known and reported on for weeks. What, you don't think the men communicate with their families?

Like I stated, this wasn't a secret by any means and the navy had previously issued a statement about it:

The fact that this wasn't some sort of a secret is a fact and not my opinion. Furthermore, I'll let the captain's letter speak for itself...

Join the crew of the USS Theodore Roosevelt in cheering for their captain and, while you're at it, sign the petition, too:

That's nonsense. Many of the sick were airlifted off the carrier two weeks ago. What, you don't think his superiors knew what was occuring?

Unbelievable! This captain is looking out for the welfare of his men; he's has sick crew member airlifted off his ship in hopes of preventing spread and saving lives and there's no way his superiors didn't know it when the navy issued a public announcement about it and it was covered by CNN and other sources. What about the "rules" then?
If you can recall, the navy had problems with its warships colliding with merchant vessels a few years ago. One of the captains was hanging out on a pole from his cabin in his underwear while his ship was taking on water. Now, that guy deserved what he got as well as others with similar circumstances. But not the captain of the carrier...
