Looks like you are correct Darian, lots of countries have higher suicide rates than the US.  I misinterpreted the original graph Russ posted since it shows suicide by gun, with the US leading.  In many other countries, suicide must be accomplished differently.

Note how South Korea leads the economically developed countries in suicides, but has virtually no gun violence.  I think this suggests that deep cultural factors are at the root cause of the violence seen in the US.  Gun violence is part of our fabric.  Suicide must be a larger part of Korean culture.  

p.s.  I read the whole article now and suicide is indeed cultural in Korea, Japan and elsewhere.

Then why didn't you call bullshit on Richard's lie of "Rapid Transit Decline" being intentional?  Sure, we all know what he meant, more or less.  Still, you've never come across as a fool.  There is no way you actually believe "Rapid Transit Decline" was intentional.

What "lie" was that?  There was no lie, nor was there even a deception involved.  

Everything I wrote was completely intentional.  Just because you were confused and your ego is what it is (massive as can be), doesn't amount to a reason to become totally unhinged.

Even Greg suggested "Rapid Transit Decline" was not an intentional word choice.  See post #19.  No one believes your word choice was intentional.  The typo becomes a lie when you insist, so ridiculously, that "Rapid Transit" was an intentional word choice and not a simple typo or error made in haste.  The coverup is the lie, not the typo, which was just a simple error.  

I wonder why it is impossible for you to just acknowledge that you made a typo or similar error when you were typing too fast?  Doubling down with a lie, like you do above, is weird.  This is the Trumpian thing by the way.  Trump might say "everything I wrote was completely intentional" when it is obvious he is lying.   You pick an interesting character to emulate.
