For 2024 I will be visiting an astro-buddy in Georgetown TX (45 min north of Austin) whose home gets 3m 10s of totality.  We will then sally forth into the Hill Country proper  to his remote observatory  for a few days of proper dark skies... Or we may do the dark sky thing before the eclipse...
