Congressman Comer - "Joe Biden engaged in a Pay to Play Scheme, selling his policy decisions for cash payments from our adversaries"

I have not followed the trial.  Do you think Trump is in danger of losing?  It is a civil case though, so even if he loses I doubt it will affect his supporters much.  In my opinion, no one, not even his family, would think that Trump is above rape, whether he wins or loses.

And, I am sorry to say, he is likely enough to win if the Democrats continue down the path of nominating Joe Biden again.

LOL indeed.  Everyone but you (apparently) would consider the following to be personal attacks - and this is just from two posts made in reply to Russ!

• I have to say it is truly amazing how utterly out of the realm of reality when one is a liberal.  You must live in Bizarroworld.
• That is one blind as a bat remark.
• Are you truly this blind and myopic?
• Your lack of recognizing what is right in front of your face is just stunning these days.
• You really do live in your own fantasy world these days don't you?
• Yet you have your blinders on 24/7 it seems.
• You guys politicize Everything In life.

Yes, his denial that his personal attacks are personal attacks is freaking amazing.   Rich simply can not admit anything.  No matter how obvious it is to observers.  Rich just below denied that leveling an "are you truly this blind and myopic?" type charge at a fellow is not a personal attack!   Unless the context is an annual eye exam, that is a personal attack - no wiggle room at all!  Wow.

p.s. James;

It is about now that Greg will show up and claim that Rich has been playing us the whole time.  Rich will lap up the lifeline like a kitten getting cream.  Pathetic.  As Russ has noted, Rich craves the attention - that is part of his narcissistic personality disorder along with a complete inability to admit anything!  We have two supreme examples of the type, one here locally and one on the national stage.

As I muse now and then, it is probably not healthy for Rich when we feed his narcissism.  It certainly leaves me feeling slimed.  So I'll bail on this thread for a while.

Russ's post is another intentional joke Rich, I'm flagging them for you.  This one is pretty funny too.  Like all good humorists, Russ gets to the point with a few well chosen words.

Russ, it appears that losing a multimillion dollar sexual battery jury verdict is OK for a former president and presidential candidate, so long as the victim can not prove penetration to the satisfaction of the jury.   On the other hand, it is not OK to misuse the word "indicted" if you want to be numbered among the class of sentient human beings.  Just trying to help here.   Jim

Hi Brian:  I've got my refurbished filter dialed in and I'm learning some processing tricks.  These photos are from yesterday, here in beautiful sunny Colorado!   Too bad I have to post highly compressed jpegs in the Politics forums, full res is pretty cool to zoom in, especially on the disk photo.   I'll upload the full res to Astromart and maybe get a picture of the day you can zoom in on.  Jim

I attribute that very sad fact to the probability that they have Massive TDS and don't care about the Due Process of Law and the Bill of Rights.  ermm
Hi Rich:

This is a serious reply to the part I've quoted above.  Prosecutors do understand that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.  That said, it is their sworn duty to vigorously and relentlessly prosecute a defendant where probable cause for a prosecution is shown.  The system also requires defense counsel.   The burden of proof is stacked in favor of the defendant.  Thousands of prosecutors and defense counsel do their jobs to the best of their abilities every day.  It is not a perfect system and crooked prosecutors or lazy defense counsel exist, but they are the vast minority.

It is not fair, in my opinion, to presume that any prosecutor who vigorously prosecutes Trump is just out to get him because they hate him so much or suffer from TDS.  When you say that, and claim that the prosecutors don't care about due process, I believe you are staking out a position of Trump being undeniably innocent, and/or above the law.  On the contrary, In my view, it is very likely that probable cause has been shown in the various Trump criminal prosecutions.  Thus, the prosecutors are now upholding their sworn duty to vigorously prosecute, within the rules of the law, when probable cause has been shown that a crime was committed.   All due process protections are in place.  Jim
