Australian liberals have suffered their worst electoral defeat in decades.  Even the party leader has lost his seat.

I have an open question to our mischievous and maundering political forum member, Richard Davis. In the spirit of one of your last thread titles, and with total sincerity I want to know the following

Expect him to emerge from his bunker and crow about the brilliance of his orange god in temporarily scaling back the tariffs on Chinese imports.

I kinda' figured that if I posted anything that even had a hint of speaking truthfully about Trump it would set you off your nut, into your regular 24/7/365 Trump Derangement Syndrome.  wink

Are you always this threatened when anything positive is stated about the President?  It sure doesn't take much for you to go a bit berserk does it James?

LOL!   smile

'Nuff said regarding richie.

OH MY GOD!!! AT LEAST 300,000 AMERICANS ARE GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!!

Posted By Maurice Clark
Hi James,

Not only is richie happy for millions to be at risk of losing their healthcare,  his silence on the gutting of NASA  is deafening.  The BBB has resulted in the biggest cut to NASA's budget since the end of Apollo.  Almost one third of their workforce is to go, and the cut for solar system exploration is almost 50%! This puts at risk many missions including those already returning data.

Strange support from someone who pretends to be interested in astronomy.

Hi Jim,

Sounds like a good trip. Hope you enjoy it.

The offer is still on if you want to come "Down Under" and enjoy the southern skies.

Astronaut Jim Lovell dies aged 97

Posted By Maurice Clark
Veteran astronaut Jim Lovell died August 7 aged 97. He was the last of that second group of astronauts — called "the Next Nine" — to die, meaning he had been an astronaut longer than any other person alive. Lovell flew on Gemini 7, Gemini 12, Apollo 8 and Apollo 13. Lovell's death leaves just 5 Apollo astronauts left alive; 4 who walked on the Moon and 1 who flew to the Moon but never landed.

RIP Captain Lovell
