New Synta EQ-6 goto mount

Looks really interesting. I can't wait to see one. But... stepper motors are not usually conducive to tracking accuracy. Of course, this is a totally new mount, so we'll have to wait and see.

Orions Atlas Mount

Hi John,
I agree with Dave. The Atlas is an amazing mount. But...have you looked at the EQ-6 SkyScan? It's going to be available very soon, and is likely to be very impressive. If you want GOTO capabilities, and high weight capacity, I don't think you can go wrong with it. Price is not yet fixed, but it will probably be one of the best deals in it's class. -Kurt Horsley
