It was an interesting article. The results were not really to surprising. At least a majority favored diplomacy over violence, for now anyway. I don't agree though that the so called arab spring will bring more accuracy to their media. I think if anything it will bring less.

I think its silly to teach it in high school, maybe college. It takes time away from subjects students need in the real world. You don't teach gay history. You teach about events and people that changed the world. If the subject happens to be gay what does it matter. What they accomplished is what matters. If homosexuality played a roll in a culture, like Rome or Sparta, you incorporate it into an ancient history class.

It's essentially a do nothing, feel good about themselves, deal. Our deficit this year is $1.6 trillion. Next year it's projected to be higher. $200 billion off an annual deficit like that only puts off the inevitable for a short time.

I remember in the 70s when the Mig 25 was supposed to be a rival to the F-15. It turned out to not even be close. Maybe this time it's different but I doubt it.

I'm a big Maryland fan. They're original ACC. I'm not really sure how I feel about the new additions. Seems like they're more for basketball than football. I hear the ACC is also looking for two more schools. I did like in days past when the ACC was 9 schools and we had home and home basketball match ups every year with all the schools.
