My take is that you might be the one who is short sighted when you make your analysis regarding my glee. Certainly I am happy as hell that the SC reigned in the tyrannical act that Biden and the Dems tried to achieve, which was/would have been a blatant violation of the Separation of Powers very structure of the US Constitution.
Let's consider both outcomes of the SC ruling and what it would have done to the election chances for Biden and the rest of the Marxist Democrats.
Scenario A) Biden's wave of hand dictatorial ruling was upheld by the SC.
What would be the results and ramifications of that SC ruling?
1st, it would have cemented the idea that a precedent now exists for any President, Biden or all of his successors to be able to wave their hand and just spend money as he pleases, due to the fact that the SC upheld his Power to just decide and execute orders and create laws out of whole cloth, to take taxpayer money and spend it without Congressional approval.
2nd it would more than not, likely assure his reelection as now his younger voters would say to themselves "Hey, he delivered on his promise to cancel our debts, and I'm going to vote him in for a 2nd term". They might also see him as Santa Claus and vote for him because he's offering them free goodies.
Therefore had the SC ruled the wrong way, permitting him to violate the US Constitution and validating his overreach, then he not only gets his wishes, cancels debt, but even more so, secures a greater possibility of reelection.
Scenario B) Biden was shot down as they ruled.
What would be the results and ramifications of that SC ruling?
1st, we have now stood up to the left and forced them to reign in their blatant violations of the US Constitutions, and stood on the principle that we do not live in a totalitarian state whereby the Marxist Democrats can do whatever they want to do, with impunity.
2nd we have beat back, just a tiny bit, the Marxist Democrats' idea of recklessly spending money without any consideration of how it will affect the financial solvency of this nation (it is only a measly $400 Billion - $1 Trillion, but it is a start).
3rd, we have indicated to Joe Biden and these Marxist Democrats that we finally are willing to punch back and stop their naked Power grab and that we on the other side do believe in the US Constitution, and we stand with it, against the tearing down of it.
So then, what you apparently haven't considered is this.
Had the SC ruling gone either way, it wouldn't matter one bit in terms of its effect on whether or not Biden would be reelected.
We as Republicans were damned if we did, or damned if we didn't, meaning that with either outcome, it wouldn't have affected the probability that Joe Biden's base and his supporters would vote for him anyway.
The one good thing that was achieved by this ruling by the SC is that we DID stop him and the Marxist Democrats' power grab.
And let's just get this out in the open. Being the milquetoast Republican that you are, I can say with near certainty that You and the rest of the RINOs in this party ARE going to vote for him once again in 2024. Therefore your assertion above which I placed in bold holds no water at all.
