Your statements are a total contradiction.

Explain please.

Should we let everyone out and go for HERD immunity since you say IT is the reason that the numbers are SO low in California?

How do you have it both ways talking out of both sides of your mouth at once?

Do we stay in or go out?

It is a simple question.

What is the answer?

What is your suggestion Albert?
Troll, I never claimed I came up with an explanation of herd immunity. I wondered why California has a better outcome thus far as opposed to New York and I linked to an article that may hold the answer to the question. Obviously, you're a troll because it's hard to believe anybody in their right mind wouldn't be able to comprehend it.

Its either one or the other.

Sounds to me as if you want it both ways, Stay home, and Go Out!

IF according to you Herd Immunity MAY hold the answer, why are you so emphatic about Staying home or wearing masks and gloves when we all go out?
"Are you planning on addressing your assertion that Herd Immunity occurred in California according to you", as per Rich Davis who then states, "I never said you..."
The rest of your nonsensical post aptly demonstrates your typical trolling pattern in this forum.

Really? So when I link to pubmed, it's idiocy? When I quote scientific sources instead of hearsay claims, it's idiocy? When I point out the discrepancies between the sources you and your buddy on the forum provide as evidence of either your claims or their own, it's idiocy? When I ask for controlled studies to backup your claims and all I get from you is Lol!, that's idiocy? Well, maybe the latter point is correct, I'd have to experience a momentary lapse of mental acuity by expecting anything else from you...

Let me just say this, I've tried to be consistent.  I've looked at graphs. I've taken those graphs and made the statement that the Growth is much closer to "linear" since around the 25th of March, than it would be described as "exponential".

I think the numbers support that.  When you see a growth in the numbers on Mar 26th of 19,000 or so, and fully 15 days later, the new infection rate is 36,000 that's not even double over a 15 day span.  What that says is that the daily rate of increase of infections, is 0.05% more than the previous day, increasing at that rate of 0.05% day over day, which is precisely what has happened in the last 2 weeks.

You show me any mathematician who calls that 'exponential' growth and I'll eat my hat.

So I've stayed consistent there.

Now I AM NOT THE ONE who brought up this Herd Immunity stuff.  YOU BROUGHT IT UP, not me.

If there is something to the Herd Immunity theory, I'm open to that idea, and if one is leaning towards thinking that Herd Immunity is the way to go, they don't in the next breath tell everyone on planet Earth to hunker down and stay away from the world in a cocoon.

You keep telling everyone that.  I'm of the mindset that this isn't Armageddon. I'm ready to open up businesses again.  YOU are not.

I'm consistent and you don't have the vaguest idea which way to go.
I'm leaving the decision on when to reopen the country to business to the medical experts rather than the metrics in Trump's head. The "YOU" in your post is irrelevant to anybody but yourself...

The latest on Hydroxychloroquine!
The CDC just dropped it from it's website for COVID19 which before today had guidance instructions and anecdotal data regarding it use and:
"We've been using it," said Dr. Hugh Cassiere, a pulmonologist and medical director of Respiratory Care Services at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, New York, a hot spot for the pandemic in the United States. "But we really haven't seen any efficacy."
"I'm not convinced it works," said Lyn-Kew, adding, "I've not seen anybody have anything near what I would call a miraculous recovery because of hydroxychloroquine."
In Louisiana, Dr. Josh Denson, a pulmonary medicine and critical care physician at the Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, said that "many patients do fine and tolerate it, but I don't think it's making a difference."
"I can't honestly say that I think that it's necessarily an effective agent at this point," said Diaz, of the Providence Regional Medical Center in Washington state. Diaz was involved in the treatment of the first patient in the U.S. diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Critical care physicians at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago aren't using it either. "It's the view of our ICU group here that the data supporting its use are insufficient for routine use for COVID-19 patients, particularly when they become critically ill," Dr. Ben Singer, assistant professor of medicine in pulmonary and critical care at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, said.
This week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention pulled back on its guidance for hydroxychloroquine usage for COVID-19 on the agency's website, no longer offering recommendations for dosage. The CDC has also deleted information on those early studies of the drug.
Small studies from China and France later hinted that the drug may be effective in treating patients with COVID-19.
But, "those reports were talking about patients who received a particular drug and then got better. We know most people with COVID-19 get better on their own," said Dr. Wesley Self, an emergency physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, who is studying the drug.
If you took those same people, and didn't give them medicine, many of them would report, we think, similar rates of recovery," Self said.
In other words, it's possible those patients would have improved clinically whether they got hydroxychloroquine or nothing at all.

They describe themselves on their website as:  We Help the World Breathe

https://www.thoracic.org/about/newsroom/press-releases/journal/2020/ats-publishes-new-guidance-on-covid-19-management.php

The main suggestions:

  • to prescribe hydroxychloroquine (or chloroquine) to hospitalized patients with COVID-19 pneumonia if all of the following apply: a) shared decision-making is possible, b) data can be collected for interim comparisons of patients who received hydroxychloroquine (or chloroquine) versus those who did not, c) the illness is sufficiently severe to warrant

https://nypost.com/2020/04/06/medical-group-backs-giving-hydroxychloroquine-to-coronavirus-patients/
"Because the guidance is not based on high quality empirical evidence – since COVID-19 is an emerging disease – the task force made suggestions as opposed to recommendations. The suggestions should not be considered mandates and will be revisited as evidence accumulates." That's a far cry from the post-tabloid claiming that it's backing its use!

Which one of the Fox News misleaders do you think is the worst?
I feel Judge Jeanine's presentation in the video is the most obnoxious but, as we see, they're all horrible. Any runner ups from Fox?
