One problem with national polls is that the election is the result really depends on 2 things, turnout and results in battleground states. Now that Sanders has dropped out, hopefully they will start more battleground state polling.
The other thing to keep an eye on is the senate. From what we have seen these past few years, that is where the real power lies. From what I have been reading, it seems that the Democratic party has an outside chance of getting a majority there, but only if everything goes their way. More likely is the Republican party holding on. Will just have to see what happens.
Going to be an "interesting" next few months!

Good post. It's the multiple layering that's really important here. When I go back to work in the clinic on Monday, I'll be wearing the n95 surgical mask and I'll coat it with the wetness from a sani-wipe throughout the day in addition to other PPE. Or, I may try to affix the saniwipe to the outside of the mask as a chemical barrier. Ultimately though, if the virus becomes aerosolized, nothing will stop it unless you're in a hazmat suit.

a Chinese lawyer recently sued the United States and various U.S. government departments for their alleged “cover-up” of the pandemic; another Chinese suit seeks compensation for “reputational damage done by President Donald Trump’s use of the phrase ‘the Chinese virus’ to describe the coronavirus.”

"Simply put, any scholar or practitioner with working knowledge of the law of foreign sovereign immunity would have taken one look at the headlines about these lawsuits (as I did) and assess immediately that there is no basis for jurisdiction in a U.S. court. (There would also likely be grounds to dismiss for failure to state a claim, forum non conveniens, and other defects in service or pleadings.)"
