Also, note how Rich dodged my analogy. He is happy to label a drag performer and a liberal Mayor (plus an unknown number of others) as sick perverts or deranged and imply that their behaviors should be criminalized along the lines of laws criminalizing bestiality. Rich does not give a damn about the 1st and 14th Amendment rights of these folks, plus he jettisons the preamble to the Declaration, which is foundational to all civil rights protected under US law and the US Constitution.

Meanwhile, Rich will squeal like a mashed cat if anyone on the left so much as suggests that his need and desire to stockpile weapons is immoral, and heaven fear the outrage if someone on the left suggest a law that limits Rich's 2nd Amendment rights.

This is Constitutional and civil liberties hypocrisy written large folks, and far too many people on the right (and left) are guilty. Political hypocrisy is rampant in the USA. Rich is merely a fine example of a much larger problem.

My response: Now that is funny and precious at the same time. I was out and about and you posted your statement and when I didn't respond immediately, you then posted precisely 120 seconds later, and accused me of dodging.

Unusual for me, but I read your link in it's entirety. In my opinion, those books would be inappropriate for grade school or junior high libraries. Conspicuously absent from Sen. Kennedys demonstration however, is any statement, proof, or even the merest suggestion that those sexually explicit books are actually present in any grade school or junior high libraries. Nothin.

I also found this passage from the article particularly interesting:

"Earlier this year, Illinois enacted a law to punish schools that do not adhere to the American Library Association's "Library Bill of Rights." Under those guidelines, books cannot be removed "because of partisan or doctrinal disapproval." The guidelines make no mention of inappropriate or sexual materials, nor does the law."

This means that Illinois can indeed remove age inappropriate books based upon sexual content. Duh, no sane person thinks that the Library Bill of Rights mandates age inappropriate explicit sexual content in school libraries. Sounds to me like Senator Kennedy masterfully disproved his own point. You lapped it up. It is embarrassing for you and Kennedy. How do you know this, and in what age-group libraries? I am not inclined to just take your word for it, and when I googled this obvious issue, I did not see any credible stories demonstrating that either of the two books in question are in grade school or junior high libraries. Jim

A good analogy is when Greg was challenged by the Resident BM of the forum who wanted Greg to produce the video of Joe Biden when he claimed in public that he got Shokin, the Ukranian Prosecutor fired, when Shokin was looking into Burisma and Hunter Biden.

The resident BM of the Forum said he had never seen the video which I had seen well over a dozen times in the past year or so, but since the Forum BM only tunes into MSNBC to get his information, he didn't even know that video existed.

Greg produced it in a heartbeat, and the resident forum BM, Brian was shocked and didn't have much to say about it. That clown is even less informed than you are, which IS saying something! LOL

My guess is that this video of Joe Biden bragging about getting Shokin fired, the Ukranian prosecutor who was investigating his son Hunter and Burisma, Is news to you right now.

After all, I wouldn't expect a TOOL FOR the left like You to have any idea of that incident.

Like I mentioned earlier, I Googled before I asked you for your sources. I found none with actual evidence that the two books in question are found in any grade school or junior high library. Everyone knows that after I made my post you frantically searched for proof these books can be found in age-inappropriate libraries. Instead of providing links, you posted a 1000 word screed that somehow ranged into the Burisma deal! Wow.

Bottom line, you have proved as well as anyone possibly could that there exists no real evidence of these books actually being in any age-inappropriate school libraries.

The big guy is Joe Biden of course. He is the Brand too, even though you did not ask. I've never thought or posted otherwise. The way I see it, there are two possibilities - Hunter was paying Joe a cut and the President should be impeached and prosecuted. Alternatively, Hunter was lying in his texts and calls about the Big Guy's cut and so on. Quite possible Hunter was lying to his clients, and lying to or about his dad. We all agree that Hunter is scum.

For this reason I support a full investigation, and I think it laughable that the lefty press denies there is any basis for an investigation. On the other hand, there should be no impeachment until bank records or other hard evidence is produced showing that Joe Biden received money, other assets, or otherwise materially participated in his son's influence peddling schemes.

I get it that you would convict and hang Joe Biden without due process. I personally respect the Constitution too much to rush to judgement when the potential allegations are so serious. Jim

Absolutely! But this was the mayor of Burbank. Any politician should know what his constituency will tolerate or endorse. Dude probably has no national ambitions. I've never been to Burbank, but I am assuming it is extreme lefty-land.

I've never been to a drag show, and probably never will - certainly not how I want to spend my entertainment dollar. But I don't go to a lot of stuff others might consider worthy entertainment. My basic premise here is not that this Mayor was being classy. My point is that a proper political conservative ought to be less judgmental, especially when conservatives get so reasonably upset when they are judged for their guns, religion, pro-life positions, or other things we are judged for all the time.
