We heard from Newsom today and he's going to meet with four previous Ca governors, including the Terminator, to come up with a plan. As Trump likes to say, "we'll see"...

The latest from pubmed:
"At present, there are no studies demonstrating the clinical efficacy of hydroxychloroquine for the prophylaxis or treatment of COVID-19 infection. In the meantime, medical practitioners are urged not to prescribe hydroxychloroquine off-label in the current pandemic because of the lack of evidence and the risk of depleting stocks of the medication for other indications. Practitioners are reminded that there is a significant risk of retinal toxicity if patients take this medication in high doses for prolonged periods of time without ophthalmic supervision."

Did you see that the Gilead anti-viral got some good press today.  The market sure liked it.

Have a great weekend.  I might get a break in the clouds - March/April are our worst months by far.
Yeah Jim I know. I just posted it to piss off the cons. Hope your weather holds. Enjoy the weekend.

Greetings From the Iranians

Posted By Rod Kaufman
They can also airmail their greetings these days:
"Iran's Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Amir Hatami showed off the drones Saturday. He said that one jet-powered UAV could fly at speeds of 900 kilometers per hour and fly at an altitude of 12,000 meters. This would rival the best drones that the US and other countries are now using. These drones have a range of up to 1,500 kilometers he said and can fly for several hours. It is a message to Israel, the US and allies: We can reach you."

The Fox Docs Apologize

Posted By Rod Kaufman
"Fox News itself is worried about exposure to legal liability, according to Gabriel Sherman, a Vanity Fair reporter who frequently uses contacts inside Fox News to expose the inner workings of the conservative media network.
“When I’ve been talking to Fox insiders over the last few days, there’s a real concern inside the network that their early downplaying of the coronavirus actually exposes Fox News to potential legal action by viewers who maybe were misled and actually have died from this,” Sherman said in an interview published on Sunday."
