Are You A MAGA Man? "Leave Free Or Die!"

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Now, I previously had posted ankle monitoring of Kentucky Trumptoids who had refused to comply:
https://astromart.com/forums/commentary-careful-read-the-terms-of-service/politics/putting-the-trumptiod-kentuckians-in-their-place?page=1#post167844
Additionally, the zippy-do method of tracking Trumptoids could follow what the Chinese are currently doing in Wuhan:
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/15/asia/china-coronavirus-qr-code-intl-hnk/index.html
Your cell phone is instantly transformed into a person tracker so the state, local and federal governments can follow your movements.  As far as those Trumptiod rebellions go, a few well-placed taser shots or a couple of night-stick jolts to the rib cage ought to do the trick...

"A message from a police department:
Local police said in a statement that the protest in Huntington Beach began small but "quickly grew to a group of over 200 people."
"We are asking our community and those that visit Huntington Beach to remember we are under an Executive Order by the State, which specifically states all residents of California should stay at home in an effort to help flatten the curve in regard to community spread of COVID-19," police said. "The more people are out and gathered in groups, the more COVID-19 will spread in our community and endanger lives."

Are You A MAGA Man? "Leave Free Or Die!"

Trump yielding gun toting protesters spring up in the spring, spurred on by Fox News personalities:
"Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Wednesday tweeted approvingly of people in Michigan demonstrating against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's order. "Time to get your freedom back," Ingraham declared. "Soon Marylanders, Virginians, etc will stand for their right to work, travel, assemble, socialize and worship? Massive long lasting damage is piling up day after day as many 'experts' continue to get the virus analysis wrong," Ingraham wrote in another tweet."
" Jeanine Pirro told Sean Hannity Wednesday night that the health officials "overblew what was going to happen in terms of the number of people who were going to die" and now are telling people to stay home. "No," she said. Pirro later added, "The American spirit is too strong and Americans are not going to take it. And what happened in Lansing, [Michigan], today, God bless them, it's going to happen all over the country."

You have to ask yourself one question, "Do you feel lucky?" Well, do you, punk?!...

What's Up With The Russkies?

Intercepting US aircraft by flying inverted? Get some F22s up there!

"In December, Russian and American troops brawled in Tell Tamer in northeast Syria. Russian forces were present in the area at the same time as US troops and when the two parties met it devolved into a fist fight, "due to their presence in the same area," according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights."

Health Care Professionals Vs Trumptoids At The Protests

The ribbing that the protesters (here and elsewhere) are taking on late night TV, in Facebook and from the national news and Hollywood is symptomatic of the titanium bubble that our "elites" live in.  Quarantine is not so bad when the Sub-zero is packed with expensive ice cream and steaks.  having an endless supply of wine or quarantinis doesn't hurt either!  These protesters are facing real hardship on the other hand, and they will remember who mocked them, just like they remembered in 2016.

Jim,
While I sympathize with the motivation to return to work ASAP, the current crisis and the clustering of people together should give one pause until adequate testing along with an effective antiviral arrive on the scene. In Georgia, as an example, a person attending a funeral lit up a COVID19 hotspot:
"It took one person, whoever that was, and there was no intent," Steiner told CNN. "It shows this virus can quickly spread."
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/02/us/albany-georgia-coronavirus/index.html
Additionally, the sentiments about opening soon are not echoed in polling:

I recognize that some, hopefully manageable, quantity of extra people will get sick and die as businesses are slowly re-opened.  If the quantity of extra people getting sick and filling ICU beds becomes unmanageable, our plan in Colorado is to return to enforced stay at home protocols.

Also, if one can stay at home, he is supposed to stay at home.  That applies to me, and I intend to do my best.  Lot's of Coloradans agree with me.  Some no doubt think the stay-at-home orders were entirely over-blown.  They will behave accordingly.

Jim
In general, I agree with your post, however, an actual real-world scenario will likely unfold in Georgia first where an abrupt opening is happening now. Since the average incubation period for COVID 19 is about 5 days, we should know within a week...

Georgia's reopening does meet Trump's WH recommendations for reopening. In fact their infection rate has experienced an uptick. As far as their death rate goes, we'll know in about a week or so, assuming people in Georgia do what the Governor is implementing now...

I agree with Jim that the above sounds like a reasonable approach BUT there are many that don't fall into either category. Examples of the latter include those protesters who think the whole thing is a hoax or that if you don't agree with them then you need to reside in communist China. I could give you more examples of the latter but I hope you get my point because these are types of people who can get you or themselves and others sick with Covid19.
