Or possibly controlling more than one, huh?

Addendum:

FYI; I know two individuals who you would call "sensitive". One is a retired physicist that worked for NASA. He does astrology, the other, Dianne who is exceptional using I Ching.

The big problem arises when you try to "read" for yourself. Can't be done. Even the professionals that are really good go to someone else to read for them. To much of the "ME" gets into the equation.

Iraq - Vietnam analogies

Lee, let me say I'm no "boomer". I was here long before that time.

I don't think the parallels that you speak of are really the point. The entire problem and dissatisfaction lies solely with the truthfulness and attitudes of our own government.

We have the same secrecy, lies, exaggerations and manipulations that put us into, and kept us, in the Vietnam quagmire.

Come to the edge

Yes, you can always take the negative aspect of any circumstance. That is why, dear Sandy, we get ourselves so screwed up.

Another Bush appointee goes!

The way it's going, Washington is going to feel like a flushing urinal in 2008.

We can't seem to get anything right. As some corporate leader once said, "We can't seem to have the time to do the job right, but we always seem to have the time to do it over again."

Maybe that should be the epitaph of the current administration!

Obviously you didn't get the point. :S

Those shortcomings in the human spirit have reigned throughout history. I don't see any reason why they should change now.

As long as we continue, not to use that what's between our ears, the savages will continue with their terror and pillage.

What happens now?

Hey guys, it was mostly tongue in cheek, although it was reported, and I don't know if it's accurate, but one of the pellets lodged close to his heart.

That sounded a little phony to me. It would seem that to inflict that much penetration the gun must have been fairly close.

Physics question.

No, it wouldn't it take off. The reason; insufficient air density flow across the wings.

This comes into play, fatally, in many instances. It's know as density altitude. I experienced this for the first time in a take off from Bend, OR in the middle of the summer. The temperature had risen significantly and although the Cessna, from the feeling as the tarmac passed beneath us, felt like it should be ready to be air born wasn't. When I tried to rotate, nothing happened!!

Fortunately for me and my wife I was able to inch it off before the runway ended.

You only get scared like that once in your life. After that you check before you try to fly!
