Umm.. here's the thing Jim, all that you and those like you on the forum ever do is criticize Trump which is fine, but you've never ever criticized Obama nor have you ever criticized a Democrat (as far as I can remember). At least those of us on the right here have a track record of NOT defending every single thing that the Republican party does and we do have a track record of going after Republicans as well as Democrats.
The fact is there were 8 years here where neither You, Rod, or Forrest has ever criticized a Democrat, and you certainly have never criticized anything that Obama had done foreign policy wise or what he did domestically. It was like he was your personal God. What that tells me, is that you don't have the intellectual integrity nor do you have the intellectual honesty to go after any of the Democrats who pull your puppet strings. And let me just say that you are a puppet of the left IMO.
I'm simply pointing that out. When GWB was in office, you guys compared him to Clinton and Clinton's record on a regular basis and all you did was rip him. When Obama was in office and those of us on the right criticized his foreign policy blunders, you immediately ran to "look at what GWB did when he was in office". Now when the shoe is on the other foot, and we bring up Obama, you don't want to talk about Obama.
Its the same thing all the time with you leftists. Well here's the thing Jim, too bad. Obama was a JOKE when it came to foreign policy. He did more to damage this nation than any other President I can think of.
Care to address any of these very basic foreign policy blunders that Obama made during his 8 years of do-nothing, lead from behind, strategic patience policies?
He openly expressed a red line in the sand when it came to Assad and told him "you better not use chemical weapons or else" and when Assad did, he did nothing.
He let Putin roll his tanks into Crimea with impunity and he refused to arm the rebel forces in Crimea.
He let China take over the North China sea where they built islands and claimed the entire area for their own and now they are problem.
He let ISIS roll into Iraq where they subsequently murdered and beheaded 10s of thousands of Iraqi citizens while Obama sat on his hands.
He said Iran was a tiny country during one of his debates with Romney and mocked him. He arrogantly laughed at Romney, and said "they aren't a threat".
He mocked Romney when Romney made a comment during the debates saying that Russia was the biggest Geopolitical threat to the world, and Obama laughed in his face and said "the Kremlin called and they want their 1970s foreign policy back".
It was Obama who put children in cages on the border and yet the Trump administration has gotten the blame.
Obama was caught on Open mike telling Medvedev of Russia "tell Vlad that after the election, I'll have more flexibility".
It was Obama who traded 6 Al Qaida terrorists from Guantanamo bay to get an American traitor released from custody by the enemy, a man who deserted his post and who willfully went to the other side.
It was Obama who in the middle of the night gave Iran pallets of US Cash on a tarmac under the cover of darkness, trying to hide his move from the public.
It was Obama who sold out our biggest ally in the Middle East, known as Israel when he entered into the lousiest foreign policy deal in the history of the world.
It was Obama who ignored the pleas from the Israeli Prime Minister NOT to sign that deal and yet he did because he hates Israel with a passion.
So then Jim what is YOUR stance on ANY Of those foreign policy Blunders by Obama? Care to discuss any of those subjects?
And you're gonna' lecture the rest of us on whether or not we're "allowed" to bring up Obama's name?
Of course you don't want to talk about Obama, you just want to bash Trump on things you know absolutely know nothing about, since you never ever criticized Obama for anything he did or does even today.
Hence my assertion that you are nothing but a puppet for the left.
So then if you don't like the fact that Obama's name comes up occasionally, I guess perhaps you should have thought about when he was President and you literally worshiped the ground upon which he walked.
Maybe if you had a reputation of taking a stance against anything he did when he was President, which screwed up this nation, you would credibility, but since you never did, don't lecture us on whom we can and cannot talk about.
P.S. And all of those above are things I can think of off the top of my head.
