I find the asymmetry of the lights a bit confusing, why would they not be in a symmetric pattern? Oh well, hard to say whether it is fake or not, but I bet it was earthly if it was real.

I notice a lot of color, blue most likely but maybe a little green too, outside the stars. You might try to Deconvolve just the Blue master before combining RGB to see if that will take care of that. Same thing if it turns out a little green then shows. Sometimes the atmosphere can cause this, or at least I attribute this to that with my site. But the image is very nice with good details.
