Heard of Helmut Norpoth?

Mel seems to have a big problem with Biden not being up for the job and that he's too old, but I counter his long tenure in the Senate gives him the knowledge and experience and to know enough good high level high caliber people to put into key jobs in the administration. Trump knew nothing of this coming from a small family run real estate sales company and to this day he still has a revolving door of acting heads filling key roles. In the words of Rex Tillerson, a man who came in and tried to help Trump as best as he could came to the conclusion, way back in the beginning that "He's a moron".

it should be an interesting 99 days.
 "He's a moron".
"Truman delivered a speech attacking the Republicans. During the speech, a supporter yelled out, "Give 'em Hell, Harry!" Truman replied, "I don't give them Hell. I just tell the truth about them, and they think it's Hell."

Bye Bye Brian Stelter?

Did you even read this article?
Stelter retweeted a tweet of an opinion of an attorney.
Meanwhile the author of the Fox news link states this, "This followed the multimillion dollar settlement agreement CNN reached with the teenager back in January."
That settlement is sealed, so there's no way the Fox news article can make that claim because they are not privy to it. In it's own way, they're doing the same thing, ie speculation about the amount of the settlement which is the same thing the attorney's opinion does. It speculation, and it isn't Stelter who is doing it. He may have reported it via his own tweet but he didn't make the claim himself...

Ok, we understand your inconsistency.

Thanks for the clarification.  wink
It's like you to hijak the topic but it's fine for you to accept what the president of the united states does on an ongoing basis without criticizing it but let one instance of a CNN commentator retweet a single tweet and it's OMG time.  I notice you don't call out Fox news for their claim on a settlement that they're not privy to, either. wink

No, you posted a diversion about the president's practice of doing the same sort of retweet and portraying him as the victim in it.

The hypocrisy and consistency here is your ability to consistently obscucate and conflate two issues that are many magnitudes apart from one another, ie a solitary retweet from a CNN commentator as opposed to multitudes of retweets from a sitting president...

The number of tweets isn't important.

You excusing one person for doing the same thing as another whom you then criticize for doing that very thing, is ample evidence of your leftist hypocrisy and the inconsistencies in your arguments.

The number of tweets is important because Trump keeps delivering them even when he knows it's wrong and then subsequently deletes them. It's a Trump strategy and not an isolated case like the one with Steltzer.

Jim,
What's your take on an attorney speculating and tweeting his opinion on the settlement in question? Anything wrong with doing it?

While Jim may elect not to offer his opinion on the settlements, other lawyers have:

The scumbags over at CNN like Stelter are such puny minded despicable dirtbags, and it turned out they had to pay.

And Lin Wood is just getting started.

He's already managed to get high dollar settlements from CNN and WaPo and now he's got about 6 more to go according to the tweets.

How's that feel?
"How's that feel?" I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Jim
Then you also disagree with the lawyer who stated, "... though a judge tossed most of Sandmann’s case, the few remaining claims that remained would not have survived discovery."
