Chas, at 33x you don't need an EQ, it just tilts the scope at awkward angles grin . Put it on a Bogan #410 head and a camera tripod.

The best place to find one is on Astromart grin

I don't think any US retailers carry them, they're .965" eyepieces.

That's pretty crazy, Jess. Usually rotating the various elements will point to the problem area. You had these targets centered in the field? Of course if you rotate your head the problem always is in the same place with respect to your orientation (9:00, 12:00, 3:00, etc) if astigmatism is the problem.

Astromart is great. I would like to be able to "watch" auctions and get an email 6-12 hours before it ends so I don't miss the close. I have missed out on things I really wanted and have had others tell me they did the same.

Anything that keeps A-mart working is great. I say charge an initial $20 to run ads. $2 bucks per ad (or whatever is needed), renew when your account hits zero (another $20). Set the site up to accept Paypal too.

Why? I think we want to continue to allow new people to wander in and see whats up.

The rating system and user history remain the number one tools for evaluating sellers. Even if someone has a "blue ribbon" ISP email, I'm not going to send $1000 to someone who joined yesterday and has no ratings unless he's prepared to accept payment after delivery.

Joe, with all due respect the same interest-driven politics exists in your camp and blocks real progress to the same degree. Our politcs as a team sport enables the ongoing disfunction.

Palin has a rare attribute - bucking her party because of her convictions. Rememeber the bridge to nowhere? She said we really don't want it, turning away the money and the jobs. I respect her for thinking beyond her parochial interests in this case. She also has the repect of many people with special needs children.

Anyway, it will be a while before we know who she is. But from what I've seen she is a woman of substance. And I am ready for a governement which includes outsiders.
