What are some thoughts on lunar filters or techniques? The moon is usually quite bright when observing, so I am trying to figure out the best solution to cutting down on the light but not the contrast. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Gemini, CGE, or Nexstar for mount upgrade?

I own a Losmandy GM-8 and a G11 with digital setting circles, and am wishing to 'upgrade' to a go-to set up. I dont have the time and or patience to try and learn the DSC's. I am not exactly sure whether the new 'upgrade' will be any easier, but that is one reason I am asking these questions here. My question is whether to go with the Gemini retrofit from Losmandy or go with the new CGE mount by Celestron, or possibly go with the Nexstar system. I do own two scopes, an 11" SCT and a 4" refractor, and having two mounts is nice at times. I can't afford to 'upgrade' both at the same time, that is out of the question. Any advice and or comments are very welcome.

C-14 Aluminum or Carbon?

Does anyne know for sure if they offer both?
Celestron website states aluminum tube.
Company Seven (retailer) states carbon fiber available.

What can I see?

Now it seems that the photos we see, they are really great, are all processed images. Correct? Now as a visual observer, no imaging yet as I have to learn to walk first, what can I expect to see when observing through the lens? Will I see different, details or views, through different models of the Coronado filters?
