Nice images. Thanks to all for sharing your processing perimeters. One question though, what do you mean "using multiple alignment points"? What program give you this capability?

Thanks for your encouragement. I plan to go back and re-work this image once I get my home network back up and can transfer these large files more easily.

Can't wait for the moon to get higher so I can play with my new toys on the moon.

First attempt at Mars with WebCam

Here is the same AVI file of my first Mars video image re-stacked and re-worked using Registax 2, 482 out of 965 frames, wavelets, gamma and contrast; then finishing up in Photoshop CS using unsharp mask, sharpen, curves,levels and color balance.

I used my desktop computer which is faster, has a better screen and color controls.

A wonderful image. smile I like to fine detail that can be seen. Any more processing and I suspect you would loose some of that. Can't wait to see another image when the seeing cooperates. Hats off to your persistence at working with the image. I usually become frustrated after an hour or so. shocked

Excellent image. grin I will be trying the IR Block filter tonight on Mars if the weather cooperates. I hope it will allow me to better balance the color. If I get anything even close to what you have here, I will be tickled pink.
