I'm getting really sick of this stuff, these crooks are going to cause a run on the banks and frighten foreign investment reallllllll soooooon.

I'd love some feedback as how to fix these thugs, obviously the money people are unwilling or unable to police themselves.

Jimmy Lai the self made billionaire in Hong Kong said that the stimulus in the US is not going to work because types such as this are going to pocket the money rather than inject it into the economy. He, as much of the world, is well aware of the corruption that exists here.

As with any system there are those who will and have gamed it. From time to time they get caught and hopefully the penalties are stiff enough to keep the honest people honest. Since the economy is bad, we are in a time when it is just easier to identify the slimy investment related players.

I wouldn't pay heed to Warren Buffet's advice so much. He just dumped a couple of billion into GE and it is faltering worse than the rest of the market. He also is heavily invested in American Express which when unemployment worsens, as it is guaranteed to, he will be holding a whole helluva lot of worthless stock when the credit card holders default. Looks like he might be piloting Berkshire Hathaway into the ground like a good many of these kamikaze CEOs. The oracle just isn't good enough anymore.

We keep hearing about the stress tests the Fed is administering to the banks. The real stress test will come when real estate valuation declines another 60%. That will most certainly shake them out. Who will survive? Uncle Harry's tin can buried in the backyard. I have never had faith in these "masters of the universe". They just can't do the math.

I saw it with the wife Tuesday discount night for $5.50. I guess I got my money's worth. They did spend some money to set up this Star Trek mill.

From my understanding William Shatner was devastated that he was left out of this one. As erratic as the plot was they certainly could have worked him in somewhere. I never stated that Obama is brilliant, but only another crafty politician that holds the American electorate in stasis. He expropriates the under classes to fund the economic elite and artificially hold their assets at inflated levels. All this while still retaining his image of populist and defender of the people. Only had .965s in the 70s probably with that same Jason Empire scope. Made the revolutionary jump to 1.25" in the 80s when I bought Meade 9mm and 25mm orthoscopic eyepieces from Asstronomics. I bought these for a used C90 and also needed to acquire a hybrid diagonal to handle the 1.25" eyepieces. I have quite a harem of high end eyepieces these days, but still have those initial two. Until death do us part I guess.

Billions of dollars worth of bail out money, restructuring, and a "soft" bankruptcy and this is what GM has come up with? Talk about not learning a lesson. The new GM is the old GM a dinosaur preserved until the Federal government itself has to file bankruptcy. This circus is most certainly out of control!

I wonder does this weehicle already qualify for the, "cash for clunkers program"? I know it doesn't. It is too "new".

From what I understand this is a direct result of price manipulation by GOLDMAN SACHS and speculators around the world. I will see if I can find the link to the story I read some weeks ago.

As for unleaded gasoline futures there was a slight draw down reported in gasoline supplies today, but it has been builds due to lower demand for some weeks. Prices at the pump backed off about four cents recently, but we should see them run back up again in the days to follow of course tracking the $71.00 plus oil price. I am just sitting back and waiting for the second bubble to POP! 10 years in horse latitudes will sober up the speculators.
