Took this back in dec. just found it thought id post it for you all to enjoy.

I just got my sony handycam back from repairs. I want to video jupiter the load to my computer. Then what and how do i stack them and do all that you guys talk about. I want to do something better than this.

Many of you know im a cub scout leader, a weblos 1 leader this year. we took the tiger, wolf, bear, weblo 1, and weblo 2, all camping at lake afton obserbatory near wichita ks this week end. we went to the obserbatory and looked through the 16' smidth cass. seen the moon. uranus, and neptune. And then a star 45 light years away that is supposed to have a planet orbiting it.After we got done there i set up my celestro c8n reflector. I showed the moon and every body thiught it looked as good as through there scope. Then went to albeiro they were amazed. Then peladies came up and they didnt realize it was so prety Then it got late so i just played a while. I got up at 5:30 set up and got saturn and everybody had to look then went to orions nebula. The sun started coming up and a few of the scouts that slept in wanted to see saturn I found it and was able to show it with a blue sky behind it.This is the first time i've had my scope under dark skys. i'll be keeping mine and upgrading the mount with motor drives because i and everybody else didnt see much difference between the scopes.

I talked my wife in going for a short drive with me out in the country away from city lights to see if i could find comet swan. I stoped just before an intersection on a gravel road. Got out with my binos there was a house across the road and there was a few cars moving around. I didnt think much of it so im trying to find the comet and in less than 10 minutes ill bet 20 cars came and went from this house. One car came out and pulled over and watced us as i was getting ready to go. People I dont know it might have been a crack house not a good place for me and my binos. And i still havent seen the comet. This is the way my luck goes.

I have a celestron C8N 8" reflector on a CG5 mount non motor drive. I also have a sony FD100 digital camera and a sony handy cam. I would like to do prime focus photos. What do i need to do this. Please the least expensive way.

Well tonight we are having a camp over slumber party for my cub scouts and neighbor kids. so im going to have a yard full of tents. Im going to set up my C8N and so the sky off. Ill try and post some pictures later.
