Superb image, Vince! I love the processing and it looks like you obtained plenty of signal. Well done!

Narrowband high res M27

Thanks all...this one is one of my all time favorites.

I did M57 last month, but not in OIII...I should try it in narrowband only.

IC7050 - The Pelican Nebula - from Utah

Wonderful depth and S/N on this one...pinpoint to the edges.

One observation...When you have so much signal, It becomes more difficult to make decisions on how to allocate it to just 8 bits for display. You chose to bring out several levels of dimmer background variation not normally differentiated in most images. But in order to do that, the main "body" of the pelican is a tad flat....there are many gradations that can be made more dramatic there.

I think you made the right call, since you only have so much dynamic range to work with, and your depth is allocated where many haven't gone before.

Bandpass shifts & Ha filters

The wider filters like the Astronomik (13nm) will be just fine...here's their info:

I used this one with my E160 at f3.3 with great results.

They have a narrower band version (6nm) and you can specify your focal ratio. But I like the little extra throughput of the wider one and a few extra stars. I never had an issue with the wider bandpass even in full moonlight.

NGC7000 - The Gulf Region in Ha

Great shot, with a great amount of detail!

Did you use flats? It looks like there's a bit of vignetting, which is understandable considering the moon + smoke. Normally, ha allows not using flats, since the sky noise tends to be buried in the read noise.
