Hello,

I would like to have the ability of changing the magnifications rapidly with a CCD camera (and a telescope), preferred with minimal focus shift or with a par-focal lenses,
Do you know of any potential product that may fit the above. Any creative solution is welcomed.

I combined 2 images from different OTAs :
1. C14 operating at f/8.7 for the LUM (70min).
2. 15" f/2.8 Astrograph for the Ha and RGB (50min).
Camera - ST8. Remote controlled at the Bareket observatory Israel.

Attched is the result.

We are doing a special web cast of comet Lulin, from the Bareket observatory in Israel.

As a part of our IYA2009 outreach activities.

The web cast will begin TODAY (weather permitting) Wednesday 25th of February, from 19:00 UTC to dawn 02:30 UTC.
It will be available during the U.S day time !

The telescope will upload an image to the web site (see link below) in every 30 seconds.

The Bareket observatory, Israel - celebrates the international year of astronomy 2009 and invites you to join in.

Watch images of the heaven taken from the ancient Jerusalem and Judea mountains in Israel.
During the live event one could listen to live explanations by a U.S astronomer and enjoying a special musical representation to those who are blind !

Sights such as nebulae, star clusters, planets, and asteroids were captured in real-time using the observatory's remote educational telescope system. The event will cover around 1.5 hours, meaning that participants can drop in and out as required. During that time one could even watch the telescope as it capture the wonders of the universe.

Explanations of the objects being observed provided in English. The special astro-cast is free and open to all, was available during the U.S day time
