Atheists More Distrusted Than...

Just a little funny to lighten things up a little,,,,

A religious women upon waking up each morning would open her front door stand on the porch and scream, “Praise the lord.” This infuriated her atheist neighbor who would always make sure to counter back, “there is no Lord.” One morning the atheist neighbor overheard his neighbor praying for food, thinking it would be funny, he went and bought her all sorts of groceries and left them on her porch. The next morning the lady screamed, “praise the Lord, who gave me this food.” The neighbor laughing so hard he could barely get the words out screamed “it wasn’t the Lord, it was me.” The lady without missing a beat screamed “praise the Lord for not only giving me food but making the atheist pay for it!!”

Thought it was kinda funny,,

TMSP Student Telescope Making Program 2012

I would love to be able to start a program like this one, teaching the young and older folk's to know and build a basic telescope. Problem is, I don't know enough people that would put out the money or effort to learn how. But it's something to think about and try to draft a few people to build some of these great and very fun and useful telescope's. I love building them, it's my nerve tonic. Astronomy has been very helpful in that department....Lol

Hi Robert,
Here are several manuals that can be downloaded from the Meade website. http://www.meade.com/software-manuals/telescope-manuals/lx-series ,,,,,, I would imagine that it is the classic lx200. But you would know more about it than me.

Get the 2 amp, less flickering and stoppages. All around better, the more power the better as long as you buy their product's your warranty will be good.

Celestron's "Sky Align" system

Hi Herbert,
I have the 6" NexStar and I haven't found park on it like on the Meade telescope's. If it's on there, I don't know what it's called by celestron or where it is, I've looked for it also and I don't think it has that feature. If I'm wrong I hope someone will let us know.
