Elk Calve(s)

Posted By James Brown

Thanks.

That is a spectacular bull Tom. I expect to see our local big boys a little later in the year.

By the way Cleve, California is a great place to visit... You will always be welcome back to Colorado, when you decide to return home. grin

(No sea otters though!)

Another view of the male Rufous. He is doing a barrel roll, I promise you that this shot was taken only a few degrees off of straight down!

Secondary Size

Posted By James Brown

Hey all of you Jims out there! wink

For these secondary sizing puzzles I recommend that you download the freeware "Newt." Factors like the tube/cage diameter and focuser height will affect the choice of "best" secondary size and "Newt" makes it easy to fiddle with these variables. In the end it will come down to a trade off of smaller obstruction vs. larger fully illuminated field. It always does!

Slow down Jess. This is a compelling story to be sure (if true). I would love for you to head on down to "Politics" and let us know precisely what the U.S. should be doing about it. Your off-hand stem cell jibe makes no sense either. Maybe I'm having a slow brain day? Please explain.

p.s. One minor point:

Purdue is a fine, no, make that a great Big Ten University. Go Boilers!

The chicken parts guys are Perdue.
